I have much experience with working with children in formal education settings. I had worked as a teaching assistant at the African Angels school in East Chintsa, South Africa as part of a placement programme whilst studying at Sheffield Hallam University. This gave me a good introduction to teaching English as a foreign language (many of the students spoke Xhosa as their mother tongue).
