I am a warm and personable person who genuinely enjoys connecting with people from different backgrounds. I love meeting new people, making friends and learning about different cultures, and I have always naturally looked on the brighter side of life. I also really enjoy helping people and making them laugh, and I think bringing that positive energy into the classroom is important. I want my students to feel comfortable around me, enjoy coming to class and feel confident enough to express themselves.

I am also a very creative person, having worked in Graphic Design and Illustration for over four years. I would bring this creativity into the classroom by finding fun and engaging ways to present ideas and make learning more memorable for students. I am confident communicating ideas clearly and have experience presenting and working with people in a professional environment. I am comfortable communicating with people of different ages and backgrounds and adapting how I communicate depending on the person and situation.

I am naturally patient and understanding, and I recognise that every student learns at a different pace and may need a different approach. My experience supporting English lessons in a classroom in Colombia gave me the opportunity to work directly with children, helping with reading, pronunciation and speaking activities while encouraging them to participate. I believe my combination of creativity, communication skills and a warm, patient personality would allow me to build positive relationships with students and create a classroom where they feel supported and motivated to learn.

I have a diverse range of experience teaching in various settings, including
kindergartens, primary schools, language centres and universities. Additionally, I
have worked as a private tutor and online teacher. All of which have given me the
skills needed to effectively implement the goals of any educational institution.
Through my years of teaching, I have developed a deep appreciation for the
importance of individualised instruction and student-centered learning. I believe
that every student is unique and has the potential to excel if given the right tools
and support.

My experience has equipped me with the necessary skills to cater to the needs of
different learners. I am passionate about creating a conducive learning
environment that fosters student engagement and participation. In my classes, I
strive to create a safe space where students feel comfortable to ask questions
and express their opinions. I also believe that learning should be fun and
interactive, and I integrate hands-on activities, games, and technology to make
the learning experience more enjoyable.

I’m a Psychology graduate with a 120-hour TEFL qualification, and I think one of my biggest strengths is the way I connect with people. I’m naturally warm, patient and caring, but also independent, organised and comfortable taking responsibility. My current one-to-one care role has taught me how important it is to listen properly, adapt to individual needs and build trust, while my previous experience in private client support, administration and luxury retail has made me confident communicating with many different personalities and backgrounds.

I’m also very curious and open-minded. My Psychology degree developed my interest in how people think, learn and communicate, and my TEFL training gave me practical skills in lesson planning, classroom management, PPP methodology and communicative activities. I enjoy learning about other cultures, meeting new people and putting myself in new environments, which is a big reason I’m excited to teach abroad.

Outside of work and study, I enjoy activities that help me stay social, active and curious. I was part of a salsa society at university, which I really enjoyed because it pushed me out of my comfort zone, helped me meet new people and gave me confidence in a group environment. I’m also interested in astronomy and stargazing, mindfulness, travel and learning about different cultures and global developments.

I would describe myself as encouraging, adaptable and genuinely enthusiastic. I’m not afraid to ask questions or learn from more experienced people, and I’d want my students to feel comfortable, supported and confident enough to participate and make mistakes. Although this would be my first full-time classroom role, I feel my combination of empathy, communication, organisation, curiosity and willingness to learn would allow me to grow into a strong and dependable teacher.

I am a CELTA-certified English teacher with a strong academic background, including a Master’s degree with Distinction and a BA in Graphic Design. My experience includes CELTA teaching practice, copy editing, professional communication, and working and studying in international environments.

I have previously lived in South Korea and participated in Yonsei University’s Global Village Program, where I lived and studied in an international community. This gave me first-hand experience adapting to life in Korea, communicating across cultures, and working closely with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

I am adaptable, patient, curious, and approachable. My key skills include clear communication, lesson planning, explaining concepts in an accessible way, organisation, creativity, and developing engaging visual materials. My design background also helps me create lessons and resources that are clear, visually engaging, and easy for students to understand.

I have experience teaching English, STEM-related subjects (particularly Computer Science and Robotics), and Mathematics across kindergarten, primary and secondary education, as well as Business English for professional clients.

Working as team leader at the UK’s busiest and no.1 popular coffee shop franchise, I have developed my leadership skills significantly over the years which will help me present lessons and teach students with ease, poise and confidence. My communication, organisational and problem solving skills have evolved greatly due to working within such a fast paced environment. I feel confident that my skillset will positively impact my teaching experience and allow for work/ class objectives to be achieved.

My passion for education is rooted in the belief that language learning is a transformative tool for personal growth, cross-cultural connection, and effective communication. With a First-Class B.A. in English and an M.A. with Distinction, alongside my TEFL certification, I bring a strong background in language, communication, and dynamic group engagement.

Having worked as a TEFL instructor delivering conversational English to non-native speakers, including adults and children, I have developed a flexible, student-centred approach.
