i am hardworking and not afraid of any challenges. I have experience working as a teacher assistant for a year between 2021 -2022. I am an out-going and fun loving person who loves children. I love singing and dancing. I have class management skills, the use of digital literacy, the ability to work with a team. I am not afraid to take the lead in difficult situations.

I began working while I was still studying to complete a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Communication Science. For the last 2 years of my studies I
worked as a remote, freelance copywriter. During this time, I
completed written article-based work for a variety of online
publications and websites. This work included gambling and online
casino written game reviews and recommendations, travel-based
articles and reviews, as well as other written work on a variety of
subjects.

After I completed my degree, I was able to intern and later take on a
permanent position at an advertising, media and marketing agency
based in Bryanston, Sandton. I now work here as a Digital Marketing
Assistant. This involves building content calendars, posting content,
managing and responding to messages or queries. I am experienced
with paid advertising on social media as well, having run numerous
client campaigns across Facebook, Google ads, Instagram, LinkedIn
and Twitter. I am also an experienced copywriter who frequently
creates content for a variety of companies and brands. This includes
post copy, website page copy, as well as scripted content for both
radio and TV.
Photography is another passion of mine. I am often present to help
cover brand events and/or activations. I am accustomed to shooting
and editing photos when required on a client-by-client basis. Looking
to the future, I am hoping to make a change. To get outside the office
and do something that really adds value to the future. I want to be a
teacher! I have now completed my Online TEFL 168
hour diploma. I am very excited to start my new career as a teacher!

My experience teaching three children the piano has allowed to acquire and exhibit patience, open-mindedness, kindness and adaptibility. I have freelanced for two years as a jazz musician in Cape Town and as a result of that I've developed qualities such as; punctuality, professionalism, reliability, rapport skills and an “easy to work with” nature. For the most part I'd consider myself a cool, calm and collected individual. I think that I am good at explaining concepts and breaking them down, making it easier for people to understand them. I enjoy working with people.

My passion for teaching developed during my years as an English tutor at Santa Fe college and a volunteer teacher at Gainesville Community Center. In These roles I created tailored lesson plans, conducted engaging classes using interactive methods, and provided personalized feedback to ensure each student's progress. These experiences helped me develop excellent classroom management skills and the ability to assess and adapt to diverse learning needs. My humor, optimism and genuine passion for helping students excel have been central to my teaching approach.
Additionally, my fluency in both English and Arabic has enabled me to connect with students from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. As someone who thrives on creating an inclusive encouraging classroom environment

I am a dedicated and hardworking individual with excellent communication skills which I've consolidated through my years of service in the hospitality sector. I demonstrate a high level of leadership both in and out of the workplace, being responsible for up to twenty staff and also captaining sports clubs in my extra-curricular life, both at university and in my post university life. I've earned these leadership roles due to my outstanding teamwork skills and commitment to both my employer and the teams I've represented.

Throughout my education, I have acquired over four years of university level education, acquiring a degree in History and international Politics and a Master's in Multimedia Journalism. In my current employment, I've had to lead a number of staff training days, with an upcoming event set for over 40 staff across two sites. This requires the production of classroom style presentations and practical teaching in the work place. Teaching is an everyday part of my job, from coaching new starters, to fine-tuning more experience staff in order to do their job effectively and with confidence.

I've also used my quality interpersonal skills to coach the university basketball team during the year I studied my MA. This was an unpaid voluntary role, which required a great deal of commitment and confidence in order to drive standards and effectively develop the skills of my peers. This required me to balance educational commitments with both paid employment and also this role as a volunteer. Evidence of my superb organisational skills and hardworking nature.

After spending the last five years teaching English in Spain (Madrid and Mallorca) and
just leaving my post in China (Shanghai), I have gained valuable insights and
experiences that have shaped my teaching philosophy. My extensive experience in
teaching students how to excel in their English exams has allowed me to develop my
skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and student engagement, preparing
me to excel as a teacher.
Having heard many positive things about working within various international education
systems, I, as a teacher myself, was intrigued to explore what opportunities a teaching
role has to offer. I have invested a significant amount of time researching the position
before applying to it, as well as reading success stories shared on the website. I am
confident that this role can provide me with the resources needed to become a bold and

My work experience shows that I have been a Teacher's Assistant and a Character Performer. These jobs have required me to work with kids, think on my feet, and be smart. My bachelor's of science is in Business, Management, and Economics: International Economics. I'm also currently enrolled in my Master's in English. These have required me to work with adults and on challenging topics. I can also speak Spanish, ASL, JSL, and some basic Mandarin. English is my native language.

Personality-wise I'm very kind, compassionate, determined, hardworking, and passionate about teaching as well as languages. I love being around people as much as I love reading a good book. I also adore a good challenge.
