my name is Lucy Gardner I am an English teacher from New Zealand I have teaching experience I taught for a year in Japan after getting my TESOL certificate.

along with my TESOL certificate I have a bachelors degree in teaching English which I got after coming back from Japan.

The skills that I learned while in Japan were classroom management, engaging with students, Trying to make lessons fun and enjoyable and not too stressful because I know how difficult learning another language can be.

I really enjoyed teaching and getting to know my students while I was in Japan I think having a warm and welcoming classroom does help with students learning and that would definitely be something I would bring to a job in Korea.

I am a native English speaker with previous experience living and working in South Korea through the Working Holiday program, giving me a strong understanding of Korean culture and daily life. I also have experience working with children in an English winter camp, where I supported students in developing their English skills through engaging and interactive activities. I am friendly, patient, adaptable and confident communicating with people from different backgrounds. Also I'm able to quicky pivot if I notice the students are atarting to lose interest.
