My name is Kelly Samuels, I am a 23-year-old South African female with five years’ worth of education at the University of the Western Cape. I have completed a 3-year BA degree double majoring in English and History.
Additionally, I have completed my Honours Degree in History as well as a
Postgraduate Certificate in Education in methods English and History. Thus, with a formal background in Education, paired with my experience in administration, I am looking to transition into Teaching abroad to immerse myself in different cultures and have cultural exchanges. I believe my skills and background make me an excellent candidate for the position at your Company. Already trained in teaching with a PGCE at the University of the Western Cape in English and History, I have extensive experience in creating lesson plans as well as PowerPoint presentations which I implemented during my teaching Practice. I am confident that the skills I developed in previous positions have prepared me for this opportunity with your company. My experience as a student assistant and my experience as a preservice teacher make me a great candidate for this position.
