I have experience teaching students of all ages, both privately and in a classroom setting (as young as 6 and as old as 70!) and no matter the level or age, I have always managed to form a rapport with my students through my patient and understanding methodical approach.

In terms of experience, I have taught in Spain and Italy (for roughly 2 and a half years now), mainly focusing on preparing students for their Cambridge English exams, but also lower elementary school children and teaching them the basics of the language.

I am a very patient and understanding teacher, as well as fun, and able to get regular laughs out of students as a result of my friendly and at times (although not always) humorous approach.

I have a deep passion for learning about new cultures, embracing local traditions, and connecting with people from all walks of life. I’ve already begun learning Korean at a basic speaking level and plan to continue studying so that I can better communicate with students, colleagues, and the community. Teaching abroad isn’t just a career goal for me—it’s an opportunity to grow personally, experience life in South Korea, and become part of a welcoming school family.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English (Creative Writing) and a Level 5 TEFL certification, with meaningful experience teaching English and mentoring students. In my roles as both an English and Special Education Teacher, I created adaptive lesson plans for diverse learners, assessed student progress, and was recognized by administrators for helping struggling students succeed through patience, creativity, and strong communication skills.

My greatest strength is my ability to connect with people and make them feel comfortable, supported, and confident. I bring energy, humor, and encouragement to every lesson, and I thrive in classrooms where students feel safe to express themselves and grow. For me, teaching is more than academics—it’s about cultural exchange, building relationships, and leaving a lasting impact on the lives of students and the community I join.

I am a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong background in teaching, leadership, and community engagement. As a current 7th and 8th grade Social Studies teacher, I’ve developed a deep commitment to helping students grow both academically and personally. My experience also includes academic tutoring, cheer coaching, and youth mentorship—roles that have shaped my ability to connect with children of diverse backgrounds and learning needs. Experience:
I’ve taught business and economic fundamentals at a high school summer camp and also served as a high school dance coach. These roles gave me hands-on experience in both academic instruction and creative mentorship, helping students grow in both knowledge and confidence.

Personality:
I’m patient, approachable, empathetic, and naturally creative. I bring an outside-the-box approach to teaching and always aim to create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.

Skills:
With strong verbal communication skills, I use humor, music, and movement to connect with students. I sing, rap, dance, and write music, which helps me engage learners in dynamic ways. My energy and positive attitude help keep the classroom light-hearted while still focused on growth and learning.

I am eager to learn and teach new English learners. I am passionate about my teaching as well as travel and history. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in History from Rhode Island College and have a TEFL Certification. I am 25 years old and by the time my contract ends in 8 months, I will have 8 years of military service at the rank of Sergeant. I have also traveled to Korea last summer and absolutely loved it.

I am a passionate, enthusiastic, and patient dual British-Canadian citizen currently residing in the UK (with a Canadian accent). My professional background is in project management, administration, and communication. I have diverse experiences from living and working in Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, and thrive in new environments and learning about new cultures. I have a Bachelors Degree in Art History, a Master’s Degree in Environment and Sustainability and I am confident making complex topics accessible and engaging, which is a skill I look forward to applying in an English teaching role. I have a keen interest in creating dynamic learning experiences and I am eager to begin my teaching journey in Seoul, South Korea.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Carleton University in Canada and have obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate – TEFL ID 308105, which supports my qualifications as an ESL educator. Over the past year, during the international ECOLART camps, I have gained valuable experience teaching English to students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I have taught a wide range of proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and I am skilled in tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of my students.

I developed engaging lesson plans that incorporated communicative teaching methods, interactive activities, and multimedia resources to keep students motivated and excited about learning. I believe in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom where every student feels comfortable making mistakes and learning at their own pace. My approach focuses on building students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while instilling confidence in their ability to use English in real-world situations.

I have ESL experience through weekly involvement in English conversation partners dinners throughout my entire time in University. Participating in these dinners allowed me to learn about different cultures and create lifelong friendships. It made a deep desire to learn continuously, which resulted in my completion of a 120-hour TEFL course to learn more about teaching English abroad. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people.

As a tenacious and ambitious Sociology graduate from the University of Surrey, I am seeking to build
on my academic foundation through meaningful work experience. I bring a strong ability to work
collaboratively, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a proven track record of resilience and
determination. My previous roles, six months as a Sales Assistant at Card Factory and eight months
as an Enforcement Officer for Guildford Borough Council, have equipped me with valuable transferable
skills, including effective communication, public engagement, cash handling, and conflict resolution.
These experiences have enhanced my ability to remain composed under pressure, manage challenging
situations, and deliver excellent customer service. I am now eager to apply and further develop these
skills in a dynamic, professional environment
