I am a passionate, sincere, and detail-oriented teacher with vast experiences of diplomatic career in England, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Colombia, Brazil, and Uruguay.

I was graduated from the International Graduate School of English with a master's degree in English language teaching. I taught languge-enriched content classes at Yonsei University and its Graduate School of International Studies. I alson taught critical reanding and creative writing clssses at The Learning Community International in Seoul.

I am a well-organised, adaptable and quick learner with strong communication and teamwork skills. My experience in customer service and hospitality supervision has helped me develop transferable skills in leadership, management, problem-solving and working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. I have also recently completed a 120-hour TEFL course with TEFL.org, which has provided me with a strong foundation in teaching methodology and lesson planning. I am excited to begin my career as a TEFL teacher abroad, where I can apply my existing skills, continue developing professionally and gain valuable international experience.

I'm a TEFL-qualified ESL teacher with a degree in Linguistics and hands-on teaching experience across the UK, Italy, and China, working with learners aged 3 to adult. I've guided preschoolers through their first English words, supported teenagers with exam preparation, and delivered over 580 one-to-one lessons online.

Travel has been one of my greatest teachers, sparking my passion for languages and connecting with people from all walks of life. Every country I've lived and worked in has added a new layer to how I understand culture and communication, whether it's tasting street food, joining local festivals, or picking up new phrases along the way. This curiosity drives me to keep exploring and sharing stories from around the world. It also fuels my lessons: I love bringing real stories, global perspectives, and creative topics into the classroom to make learning English feel like an adventure.

Outside of teaching, you'll find me exploring a good book or film, trying a new hobby,
experimenting with creative film projects, or growing my own vegetables, all of which somehow find their way into my lessons. I've built a teaching style rooted in patience, creativity, and genuine care for each student's progress.

I am a patient, dependable, and enthusiastic person who enjoys helping others learn and grow. With one year of teaching in South Korea already established under my belt, I can confidently say that I am familiar with the world of South Korean academies. Additionally, as my previous contract worked closely with Elementary and Middle School aged students, I have experience with building a strong rapport with students along these age groups. My personal teaching philosophy aligns with the idea of using textbooks as a tool, but to not rely on them completely — that in order to learn a language, they must begin thinking in that language. Thinking in English – when paired with activities, pop culture, team-building projects, and creative outlets – allows the brain to feel more comfortable with a structure that had previously been foreign. Thus, I love to enter the classroom by having basic conversations with my students, engaging in their shared interests and using them as leverage during lessons, and implementing task-based learning methods that allows them to gain confidence in English.

My background experience i believe would translate well into a teaching position. My creative design skills allow me to create engaging lesson plans and materials. Also, after recent travel experience across China and Vietnam I found I could adapt well to different cultural environments, I also found a passion for helping the local people improve their conversational English skills. I have experience working for major brands such as Skechers and JD sports where the ability to handle pressure and multitask is essential. My personality is calm and assured.

I am an outgoing, adventurous, and passionate person in all manners, professional or personal. Throughout my time at university in Madrid, Spain, I developed a passion for the English language in all its uses. By taking on leadership roles in both student-led and university-sanctioned programs, I learned I had a knack for helping others in the many stages of their English-speaking journeys. Additionally, my years of client-facing roles in the service industry have strengthened my dependability, drive, and leadership. My experience in healthcare and academic administration has uniquely prepared me to be an effective, patient, and highly organized English teacher in South Korea. In my role at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, I coordinated interpretation support for over 200 different languages and managed patient relations. This daily immersion in cross-cultural communication taught me how to bridge steep language gaps, anticipate student frustrations, and maintain total composure during high-stress situations. It also honed my ability to practice empathy and active listening, traits that are essential for making young or non-native learners feel comfortable and supported in a classroom. Additionally, my work as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago sharpened my operational and educational design skills. I routinely audited and updated academic documents to maximize readability and clarity, which directly translates to designing accessible lesson plans.
