I have tutored University Students and also learners from Grade 7 to Grade 12. My warm personality and willingness to always help made classroom management easy for me as learners were always willing to cooperate. I work well with kids as I have a very playful nature and laughter here and there goes a long way for the kids. The aim is to always make learning fun.

In my teaching experience I have seen that leaners come into the classroom with open minds, and it is the teacher’s responsibility to expand their minds with information so that they can use the acquired knowledge to build their personalities and broaden their thought processes to help them solve problems of everyday life. Another thing that has always worked for me in my teaching years is knowing that students have different needs and they grab information differently. As a teacher, I need to be able to consider that when I prepare my lesson. Also, interacting with my students during my free periods has helped me a lot because I get to see if students understood the lesson. I’m currently teaching English and having to communicate with my students in English, even when it is not in a classroom a lesson, improves their self-esteem and they are able to express themselves in English. I am a passionate and a friendly person, thus it’s easier for kids to communicate with me.

I have 1y10months working as Cabin Crew, travelling across Europe ensuring passengers have a safe and enjoyable journey. Through this I meet people from a wide range of different cultures, and interact with them often.
10 months experience as a Supervisor role, preparing cabin and roles, training crew if necessary.

I am very eager to learn about new cultures and languages, and also to share culture and language with others.

While I don't have much teaching experience, I have seen many different teaching styles, through school, university + job training, and can use my experiences there to develop a good teaching style.

Recently completed a 200hr TEFL course online.

I am a kind and friendly individual, able to work well under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor in a classroom setting. I have just completed my Celta qualification and had fantastic feedback from my tutors regarding my lesson planning and performance so I feel I would be well suited to a teaching role. I currently work in administration within an English language academy for adult students and have been observing the teachers lessons to gain further experience in how lessons are given and different teaching methods. I was also heavily involved in our junior school programmes over the summer and easter holidays, staying in the residential accommodation with our students, planning all excursions and managing the students on excursions. Throughout all my jobs I have often worked in public facing roles so I feel that my communication and listening skills are great. I am looking forward to starting a new career within the English language teaching community.

I am an experienced ESL teacher with over 4 years experience online and in person. My most recent experience is as a Homeroom Teacher in Mapo-gu. Within this position I also taught the first ever international class at the school which included teaching English, Math, Science, Social Studies and even arts. We performed a short musical for parents. Although my time at this school was short, it was very impactful on not only me but the school as well. I created the curriculum on my own and had free reign over the topics taught. This meant studying topics such as creative writing, book reports, the life cycle and so much more.

I have recently graduated with an Honors degree in Children's Literature and Creative Writing from a UK university and am currently completing a 120 hour TEFL qualification.

I have an F6 visa and therefore do not require sponsorship to work in Korea.

I was volunteering at my University as a Radio Presenter and Producer. I used to mentor new students at student media, I was responsible for employee wellness, I was a part of the disciplinary committee.
