I'm a TEFL Certified Teacher from the United Kingdom. I've had three months of teaching experience and spent two years leading activities for children of all ages and backgrounds. I'm great communicating, paying attention to detail, and finding the fun in any situation.

I have previously taught music technology at Reepham Primary School and currently teach and train marketing technology at Copper Leaf Media. I have a BA in Sound and Music Production and a 140-hour TEFL certification. I'm also skilled in problem-solving, creative design, and am always eager to learn.

I have a great affinity for Korean culture, the food, rich history and the language. I'm ready to take on new teaching opportunities in Seoul with enthusiasm.

I am currently a private tutor for both maths and history. I have worked with students aged 7-16 ranging in ability. I am experienced in guiding students through multiple curriculums from SATS to GCSE. I am skilled in using creative teaching aids, including online aids such as ‘Kahoot!’ and ‘Google Classroom’, with a belief that creative and immersive tasks are highly beneficial for students’ development. Most importantly, I have always striven to ensure that I create safe and secure learning environments for my students, through being patient and empathetic with students’ needs. These are environments where students’ feel confident to express ideas and unlock their full academic potential.

Having previously relocated during the pandemic and lived in Hong Kong for a year (2021-2022), I am a resilient and adaptable traveller. I studied East Asian Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong whilst thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the local culture, beauty, and lifestyle of my new environment. Your school’s objective: ‘to instill in children the ability to think, act, and dream in English’ is an exciting one that resonates with my own teaching ethos, and I believe my adaptable personality and openminded approach to teaching would suit your schools. I have obtained my TEFL level 5 diploma, with notable strengths in lesson planning and resource creation for all four language skills, as well as learning a variety of teaching techniques (especially for teaching vocabulary and grammar).

Having recently completed my 120 hour TEFL certification, I'm now looking to start my teaching career abroad. Holding a degree in Mathematics and a native English speaker, I'm keen to start this next chapter of my life and help others learn. During my working life I've work in numerous positions, including IT/IS support and, most recently, as a Geophysicist. Positions which have involved me creating and providing training programmes for a variety of people as well as having to think quickly.
