I have been a Korean language program tutor at the University of Michigan, where provide tutoring sessions on Korean writing and grammar for the Korean language students here. We serve as a resource and liaison between students and faculty to best meet the needs and academic objectives of students. Also, we work with Asian Languages and Cultures faculty and staff to develop programming for the annual Korean Language Program, which I believe go alongs with the ESL position.

My strengths are that I'm always reliable because I hardly get sick and I don't ever really don't call out of work and I come the days I'm supposed to come. I have 3 years experience teaching children ages 4-16 in a dance instruction setting. While it may seem like dance and English teaching are very different, I find there are more similarities than one may think. New concepts in dance can be challenging, uncomfortable, and feel unnatural to perform, just like new language skills. My strengths as a teacher lie in my ability to personalize instruction to each student to make sure they don't feel overwhelmed or left behind as we progress as a class.
