I am excited to apply for the TEFL Teacher position in Korea. I have a bachelor's degree in social work. I have always had a passion for working with children. I have volunteered in many capacities of working with children from diverse backgrounds. I was a case manager for a Foster/Adoption agency, I have volunteered and completed internships with child protective services in Texas, I have been a camp counselor for a non profit organization that provides summer camps for children in foster care, I worked for a year as a relief teacher for Troy ISD which is a school district in Central Texas, and I currently volunteer in my church as a youth group leader teaching sunday school classes to middle school aged youth.

Experience:
I used to tutor students at my old high school when they needed help with social studies, math and English. Additionally, I would provide tutoring for my younger brother, who suffers from Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). English, Reading and Comprehension, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Business were the subjects of his homework. I gained a practical focus on teaching students with varying learning levels as a result of this experience. This was a really fulfilling experience for me, and I was proud to have given those students the courage to try new things, and succeed in those required classes.
