I have over 20 years experience teaching English and have worked with all ages from 5-adult and all levels. Thanks to my degree in Linguistics and my experience, I can confidently explain all aspects of the English language such as grammar and phonetics. In addition to teaching, I have led and supervised several extracurricular activities and excursions as part of my job.

I am a friendly and open person and enjoy meeting people of all different cultures. I like to build a good rapport with my students and remain friendly but professional. I have a clear voice and can adapt my language to suit the different levels of learners. I enjoy working as part of a team and sharing my ideas with others.

For differentiation, I always have extension tasks on hand for the stronger students/faster finishers and scaffold the weaker students with closer monitoring and pairing them up with stronger students. I am very flexible and willing to take on extra hours/cover work when required.
