In terms of experience, as a behavior technician for young children with Autism, I have been able to be adaptable in all sorts of situations in regarding to behavior management and skill development. Children are often unpredictable, so I must be able to go along for the ride. As a Resident Assistant on my own college campus, I was able to foster an inclusive and supportive environment by creating an open door policy with my residents and conducting events to allow for an inclusive community. As the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Manager, I have been able to have difficult discussions with my peers within my sorority in order to help us grow to become a more inclusive and socially conscious group of women. Through my experiences, I have shown that I am a culturally competent and inclusive individual by opening up difficult conversations between myself and the people around me. I am also adaptable and supportive in being able to create something that works best for each individual depending on the context. I have shown to create a comforting space for the communities that I have maintained and created.

Hello. My name is Blake Sablatura. I'm a 30-year-old educator currently based in the United States, with over seven years of international teaching experience in Mongolia and China. I currently work as a park ranger, but a lot of my duties focus on conservation education. I specialize in project based learning through English language instruction, cross-cultural communication, and educational outreach, with a strong background in working alongside local education departments and teacher training institutions. I’m passionate about history, lifelong learning, and exploring different cultures, especially through their food! I’m currently seeking a teaching position abroad where I can continue to grow as an educator, contribute to student development, and immerse myself in new cultural experiences. I am actively seeking to relocate. I am currently working for the federal government, but with the recent difficulties imposed upon federal workers by the administration and having already been fired once illegally and rehired by court order, I believe it is best to try to build a life outside of the United States at this time.

To the GLOII Consulting recruitment team,
I am writing to be considered for the role of English Teacher in South Korea. As a native English speaker, a first-class graduate from the
University of Bristol and soon-to-be TEFL-qualified English teacher, I
am motivated to start my journey as an ESL teacher, helping students
gain confidence and competence in English through engaging,
needs-based instruction.
I have over 1 year of relevant classroom experience. Currently, I work
as a Teaching Assistant at a primary school in London, where I support
young learners to develop literacy skills through 1:1 and group
phonics, grammar and writing instruction (as well as mathematics,
science and humanities.) This requires organisation and patience –
crucial characteristics of an ESL teacher, and has given me practical
experience in lesson planning and monitoring student progress. I have
worked in a range of educational settings which has required me to be
adaptable to meet the needs of students of different backgrounds and
abilities. To further demonstrate my commitment to the education
sector, I will mention that I intend to obtain a PGCE to become a
fully qualified English educator.
My TEFL Level 5 Certificate (168 hours) from The TEFL Academy has
provided me with a solid foundation in ESL teaching methodology,
lesson planning, classroom management and the creation of teaching
materials. I am drawn to the communicative approach as I believe that
languages are best acquired through functional use. I will encourage
my students to produce language with high levels of accuracy and
fluency through a combination of guided instruction and free practice.
I have every confidence that I will thrive as an educator at your
Language School in South Korea.
South Korea's dynamic cultural and educational landscape greatly appeals to
me and I would be thrilled to have the chance to develop my career as
an educator whilst living in a new country. I am motivated to
