My name is Mackenzie and I am currently a Student Services Specialist at a community college. I have been teaching kids at various jobs for about 8 years now. I started off as a summer camp counselor, where I would independently lead classes of up to 15 kids (ages 4-13, depending on the class). I taught dance classes, theater classes, cooking classes, and engineering classes. I also worked as a teacher’s aid for a class of 3rd grade students (ages 8-9). In that role, I focused primarily on reading and writing skills with the kids, and finding creative ways to engage kids in making learning fun!
