I'm currently looking for (single) teaching positions in Korea, starting ASAP (or in the near future), with my preference being in Seoul; I was wondering if you had any suitable positions available.

I'm a native speaker, recent graduate and additionally I have completed a 120hour TEFL course. I have all my documents ready to go (including Bachelors Degree with apostille, Criminal record check with apostille and sealed university transcripts). This would be my first teaching role but I have held professional management roles, worked with the public and worked effectively as part of teams for many years now. I'm hard working, confident, plan ahead and I'm used to delivering to high standards. The chance to work in Korea and bring out the best in a classroom of students is a challenge that I look forward to.

My name is Max Manayan and I have recently graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I am looking to teach English in a Seoul hagwon for a year while I apply to graduate school. I have no formal teaching experience, but seeing as I have not been too far removed from the classroom setting, I believe I will be able to learn the ropes of teaching.

I spent the Spring semester of 2019 studying at Korea University in Anam and was able to familiarize myself with the culture. I appreciated every moment spent and would love to have the priviledge of returning to Seoul! In terms of skills, I have experience in both molecular biological and ecological research. I am interested in understanding the fundamentals of teaching, because I believe is an valuable skill applicable to any situation. My philosophy of education is that all people are unique and this uniqueness creates a unique community in every classroom with a positive attitude, open minded, encouraging and ultimately inspiring, which makes a stimulating educational environment where students can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially where they can meet their full potential.
To achieve this there we have to keep it simple by keeping instructions clear and checking for student understanding, this way we can be sure that they know what must be done.
Giving them lots of time to practice makes them comfortable to use by talking and writing the language, using positive reinforcement remarks and celebrating student accomplishments also boosts their confidence.
I have a strong sense of making life and work easier for people working under difficult conditions with a tendency of seeing complexities of situations with a very selective behaviour pattern, making things simple which I like to believe is a good habit of quality control. I find it challenging to give something of importance for others to do; I tend to rather do it myself because of the highly developed level of competency. Change within the normal frameworks of work and life in general is something I handle very positively especially when there is a good reason behind the change. I have a very cautious but positive approach to new ideas and technologies, in a sense that if the new realities are convincing and realistic it is easy for me to adapt to them. I always push for a positive change by making myself available to actively work towards a better reality for all, becoming actively assertive to getting things done with structure and control measures.
I believe with the nature of my international work experience in India, which involved a great deal of learning, research, self-motivation, thinking outside the box and a wide range of skills, an understanding of industries was essentially given, so I can utilize my experience and skills to be well adept in this position I am applying for.

I do not have any direct experience with regards to education but have been heavily involved in working with children throughout my life. Potentially my best experience was as a first-year class mentor in secondary school. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting up weekly with the first-year students to talk about problems they were having in the year. It was our goal to ensure the switch from primary to secondary school was as seamless and as unintimidating as possible. We eventually became good friends with the younger students which they said allowed them to adjust easier to their new student life.

Apart from this I have babysat younger kids on many occasions as well as assisted my mam in her job as a physiotherapist by dealing with kids with physical and intellectual disabilities.

I am a naturally welcoming person and strive to be inclusive of everyone. I like to think that I present myself in a respectful and confident manner.

I have worked hard throughout my life to ensure that I achieve my fullest potential. My work ethic and determination has been commended during my various employments. This included work as a labourer in New York and Vancouver, a waiter working for a catering service and finally during two internships with Pfizer.

During these various jobs my communication and interpersonal skills improved greatly.

I enjoy learning foreign languages. I started with French and took French for 5 years and even did French immersion in Quebec. I use my skills from learning my foreign languages to better understand my friends who have trouble with speaking or writing in English. Learning foreign languages has changed my view on how I look at the English language and how to present the way I speak and write to non-English speakers.

I am a highly passionate English literature graduate with 2 and a half years of
classroom experience alongside a TrinityCert TESOL certificate that I gained while studying at the English Teacher Training College in Austria. While studying there I was introduced to, and immersed in, a wide variety of educational theories and methodologies. My theoretical background in education was then complemented during my time in Austria where I was privileged enough to be given the opportunity to teach a widely divergent set of students that encompassed beginner level students to upper-intermediate level students (A1-B2 on the Common European Framework). In order to meet the language learning needs of such a disparate and contrasting set of learners I had to refine, adapt and successfully apply the methodologies I was introduced to. This experience has given me a rich grounding in education which has been perfectly complemented by my time at First Leap in China where my pre-existing theoretical knowledge has allowed me to successfully navigate the problems I faced in applying teaching methodologies to new students that have different learning needs, and possess a different linguistic structure than what I was previously exposed to when I gained my teaching qualification.

After a year and a half teaching for a nationally expanding teaching company in China – First Leap – I was awarded a promotion to Teacher Advisor after attending a rigorous management-based training course administered by my company. As a Teacher Advisor, I am responsible for the professional development of all teachers in four First Leap centers across Beijing. As a part of my role, I utilise my theoretical and practical teaching knowledge in one-to-one and group training while administering assessments of teachers to establish a consistently high level of teaching quality across the region.

I am an independent, hardworking and outgoing person. I have recently completed my Bachelors degree in Business & German from Trinity College, Dublin. Experienced working as an individual or as part of a team in various fast-paced environments from the service industry to manufacturing.

I also have experience working with children. I volunteered to work on the Clongowes Special Children Holiday during the 2014 summer. During this period, I was personally responsible for the care of several young children with varying disabilities. I also worked for two summers as a state examinations supervisor and aide. I worked 1-on-1 supervising and helping students with learning disabilities sit their leaving cert examinations in special learning centres. In this role I was given a great deal of responsibility to ensure proper protocol was followed and to make certain the student received the appropriate amount of aid he/she was entitled to.

I feel my skills learned while working these jobs will help me in teaching children of all ages. I am also adept at learning new languages having achieved fluency in German. I hope this skill will translate well as I attempt to learn Korean during my stay. I have also lived away from home before, spending a year in Germany. This has allowed me to become more independent and I believe this makes me suited to dealing with the challenges that often come from living abroad.

Experience: I have recently completed some work experience with a primary school here in the U.K. During this time I performed the role of a Teaching Assistant, and I worked with children aged 5-11 years old. Duties included: reading with the students, supervising in the classroom and out of class activities, key learning focus was english reading, writing, phonics and spelling as well as lots of creative based learning.

My name is Darius Allen Livingston Mills and I currently live in Hwajeong-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

I have experience teaching in Korea at Hwajeong POLY Language School and 2 years teaching Biology on a community college level in the USA.

I am a native English speaker and ESL teacher with experience teaching a wide variety of students. I have taught for two years as a public school teacher through Japan's INTERAC programme, placed in Elementary and Junior High schools in Kanazawa, Japan. Additionally, I conducted conversational classes with adult learners and helped prepare private students for IELTS examinations and overseas studies. I am very strong at creating entertaining and engaging lessons. I owe this to strong lesson planning, using (and making) fun, profession- al multimedia, having a strong sense of humour and being adept at public speaking.

I majored in English at University and have since worked as a tutor, journalist. newsreader, copywriter and junior editor. All these positions require a strong command of the English language as well as impeccable grammar and spelling. I started teaching a radio news broadcasting class in 2018 as a Saturday job and realized that I love teaching.

I like children because they're completely unfiltered and haven't been conditioned yet, making them open-minded and willing to learn new things. Their curiosity fascinates me! Currently, I am on maternity leave from work for Chungdahm Learning in Busan. I worked in Seoul for 3 years before transferring to the Busan branch within the same company. I was promoted to Head Instructor in May before leaving Seoul, and upon arriving in Busan, I continued in a management position as a Team Manager. This position required that I serve as a liaison between the company’s headquarters, the Korean management team, and the Instructors. I also reviewed CCTV of the teachers and compiled reports about their strengths and weaknesses; and offered my support to bolster those weaknesses. In my role as a teacher, I have worked with students in the age range of five to fifteen-years old. When working with basic to intermediate level students, I help them with reading and listening comprehension, as well as speaking and writing skills. My company focuses on preparing students for the TOEFL examination, so my experience is geared towards this goal. For the Master level course, we discuss English Literature. This challenges me to talk about difficult topics and concepts, while also balancing the cultural sensitivity of the students and parents. In addition, I have used, and have become more proficient, with Smart TVs, Samsung tablets, and Microsoft Office. I must also prepare detailed reports on the progress of my students, including their strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions for improvement. Twice I have had the fortune of being named Best Teacher and have won a company-wide competition for my branch. This is all written to illustrate my commitment is not only to my students, but to the company as well. On a personal note, what has kept me in the company for so long are the students. There have been many times that I have been weighed down by the stresses of life or maybe had a particularly challenging day, but then once I am in the classroom with my students it all melts away. They make me laugh, but also inspire me to work harder for their growth and improvement. I always work hard for my students, even the ones that channel their anger towards me or feel no reason to try, I don't give up.

The last two employment roles that I worked under were both as a care coordinator, and I believe the experience that I gained can be transferable to a classroom as I had to maintain effective communication and professionalism at all times, whether that included on the telephone, face to face or in written communication. My responsibilities also included meeting deadlines, as well as the ability to cope under pressure at all times, remaining calm and patient when supporting service users.

I am a newly qualified TEFL teacher looking for a career change.
I have been working in research in public health since graduating my honors at university. Through my degree related work I have found myself in the classroom, teaching high school learners. While doing so I have enjoyed myself and have a newly found passion for teaching. What better way to explore this than teaching English as a foreign language I thought! Whilst been in the classroom I have found my strengths as a teacher. The students also did not speak English as a first language so I got a feel of what it would be like in an ESL classroom.
I am especially interested in teaching in South Korea because of the wonderful scenery and culture of the people. I have heard how safe it is as well which is something I would really appreciate in a city, as its not very safe where I live. Also not forgetting how delicious South Korean food!

My previous workplace experience ensured that I developed strong time management and communication skills, and an ability to resolve interpersonal conflict. An example of how I utilized and developed these skills is the kennels is assisted in managing, there was a strict schedule that had each job organised down to the hour it had to be completed by. I was in charge of ensuring that all staff in every building, including myself remained on schedule and that the tasks were completed properly.
I have experience in demanding work environments which has given me the ability to manage stress effectively and remain calm. This is especially useful when working with children, as I have done in the past when working in a stables where children's pony clubs, summer camps and lessons are done on a regular schedule. I have found that children respond best to someone who is cheerful but remains calm and clear.
I am very independent which makes it much easier for me to travel away from home for extended periods of time. However I also enjoy working as part of a team, my work in the stables relied on having a team who worked together effectively and helped me develop a good capacity to work cohesively with others. I enjoy setting challenges and strong goals for myself, it ensures that I achieve any goals set out by my employer and that I am more than willing to take on extra work or projects.
