I have had a range of different teaching experiences. I have taught Science in the city of Syracuse where I was teaching students who come from a low income background in America. I have taught English to students in a rural community in Zambia through the American Peace Corps. I also built a library using a grant from the American government. I had to work together with the village in Zambia to build the library. I learned how to better work as a team with people during this project. I facilitated 32 boxes of books to be brought from America to the library in Zambia. I have learned how to respect different cultures through my time in Zambia. I am confident I can immerse myself in Korea fostering rich relationships with the locals.
I have an easy going personality and I enjoy teaching. I enjoy playing different sports such as football, ping pong and basketball. My friends would describe me as someone who is fun and enjoyable to be around.
