I would like to express my strong interest in an English Teaching position in South Korea. With experience supporting learners in classroom, one-on-one, and professional settings, coupled with a 120-hour TEFL certification, I am eager to bring my passion for education and commitment to student growth to South Korea.
As a Co-Teacher and Paraprofessional at Frederick W Hartnett Middle School, I worked with students for individualized 504 and IEP plans, assisted in lesson delivery, and managed classroom activities, inquiries, and behavior. I have also stepped in as a substitute teacher, planning and executing lessons while maintaining a positive and structured learning environment. Additionally, my experience as a private tutor for over a decade has honed my ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles and needs—skills that are essential in supporting students in a dynamic hagwon setting.
Beyond academics, my background as a pediatric-focused psychiatric technician and EMT has strengthened my crisis prevention, communication, behavioral management, and interpersonal skills. I am certified in CPI and MOAB, and I consistently foster safe, engaging, and supportive environments for students of all ages. I bring energy, patience, and creativity to the classroom, striving to make English learning both accessible and enjoyable.
