I am a CELTA-qualified English language teacher with six years of teaching experience across the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. My experience includes teaching primary school children aged 5–11 in the United Kingdom, teaching children, teenagers and adults at a language centre in Saudi Arabia, and teaching adult English language learners at the Refugee Forum. At the Refugee Forum, I supported adults in developing their English skills to prepare for university study and integrate into British society, covering academic and creative writing, research reports and Harvard referencing. I currently work in a special educational needs and disabilities college, support learners, and cover teaching duties when required. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Management and International Business, the CELTA qualification, and an IELTS teaching qualification. I am also undertaking professional training to become an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examiner. I am patient, adaptable, organised, and enthusiastic, with a student-centred approach focused on interactive lessons, inclusive learning, clear communication, and building learners’ confidence.
