With experience teaching at the university level, mentoring young adults, and working across cultures for much of my life, I am confident in my ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment for Korean students.

My teaching experience includes instructing university students, where I developed structured lessons designed to build communication skills and confidence. I have also volunteered as a mentor to young adults, helping them develop academic and professional skills. These roles strengthened my ability to manage classrooms, maintain positive energy, and tailor instruction to meet individual needs.

Growing up in Kenya and later living in the United States has given me a strong understanding of cultural differences and communication styles. I am adaptable, patient, and comfortable building relationships across cultures. My solo travel experiences in Mexico and South Korea have further developed my independence and ability to adjust quickly to new environments.

I am particularly excited about teaching in South Korea. After visiting the country, I developed a strong appreciation for its culture and community. I am currently teaching myself Korean to better connect with students and colleagues and to demonstrate my long-term commitment to cultural integration.
In addition to my teaching experience, I hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which reflects my organization, discipline, and ability to manage time effectively; skills that are essential in a fast-paced school environment.
