I have four years of teaching experience. I have a calming presence and am patient, kind and honest. I have experience working in multicultural environments, as well as experience with working with children with various learning barriers. I am very adaptable and adventurous. I am a team player, which will bring a sense of unity to the classroom. I have experience working in elite private schools and then public schools. I will bring creativity to the classroom, as I have worked as a visual arts teacher for two years, which will allow for fun lessons and allow the children to develop into their unique potential.

I have a very gentle nature, but I can be stern when I need to be. I am very calm and collected, and never lose my temper, however, I would be able to handle students by using different ways of discipline, instead of intimidating them by shouting. I have very good language skills, I have always had a high level of English, and I have a lot of passion for my language. My whole life I have been correcting native English speakers, despite it not being wanted, so I believe that when it is wanted it will ignite my passion to educate. I am also a good public speaker, I did drama in school which taught me to project my voice, and to speak confidently and clearly. My experience working in the film industry has also given me the skills to work under high pressure and for long hours. I do not have experience teaching children, however, I have always thoroughly enjoyed children. I was an unprofessional babysitter for my mother's friends, I did some tutoring while I was studying, and I used to be apart of a dancing group that did children's birthday parties. I strongly believe that the combination of my skills, personality and experience would make me a very fun, and good teacher.

I worked in the Netherlands as an Au pair in the year of 2018.I took care of 3 children between the ages of 7-12. It was a challenging 12 months being out of my comfort zone, and having to adapt to a whole new cultural environment, but if I were to go back in time I wouldn't change a single thing! Through my job I learnt how to be responsible, the lives of 3 people were in my care, punctual, if Im late the kids will be late, and how to serve people from the heart:) During my stay I was also able to travel(solo) to my top 10 European countries,Spain, Italy and Croatia to name a few.My travel experiences opened up a whole new world for me. I learned about different cultures, Histories and way of life! The openness and general friendliness of the Europeans made me feel right at home.
This will be a chance to see if a teaching career is really what i should be pursuing. I love new and challenging experiences because that is one of the ways you can grow yourself. Being outside of your comfort zone helps you to gain new qualities and gives you a chance to polish up on existing ones. Teaching abroad will also allow me to broaden my mind about various cultures and other ways of living.

TEFL-Certified, adaptable college graduate seeking employment as an English teacher in Cheonan, South Korea. Experienced in tutoring conversational English to kindergarteners and adults, and also in editing English papers for foreign-exchange students from both Japanese and Korean backgrounds. Worked at POLY Magnet for one year and am excited for a new opportunity in March, 2019.

I hold an education and arts double degree (I am a licensed teacher) as well as a graduate diploma in TESOL (I've almost completed my MA – TESOL). I have teaching experience which consists of 15 weeks of full-time teaching as part of my teaching degree, 6 months of permanent part-time teaching (delivering the South Australian curriculum) and limited relief/supply teaching.

My strengths include my confidence in the classroom, my ability to set engaging lessons, my strong theoretical knowledge, and being genuinely passionate about teaching. I believe in creating positive rapport with students, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, and believe in compassionate approaches to teaching.

My chronological age aside, I am very friendly, warm, enthusiastic, and look and feel much younger than “the number” next to my name. I am a very creative person (I have performed in musicals, written plays, sing, dance, etc.). I also genuinely enjoy inspiring young minds and making learning fun.

As an on-call nanny (and a devoted Aunt to young nephews), I take time to answer children’s questions with respect and honesty, and create fun and imaginative games to share with them. Children are learning even as they play, so I consider time spent with them as valuable experience for us both.

I have many good things to offer as an instructor and I hope I am given the opportunity to prove as such. 🙂

Although I have worked with different age groups, I can confidently say that my greatest strength is teaching the younger students (5-8 years old),this is evidence from the work experience i have had.
I started teaching English in April 2018 in Thailand, Phuket town. I cannot emphasise enough how much the kids and I enjoyed my classes. I have learned so much from my work experience in Thailand and this has made me fall in love with teaching. Hence i am applying to expand my teaching experience in South Korea.

In May 2017, I graduated from Gordon College and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education before moving to Taiwan for one year as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA). Throughout my time as an undergraduate student and serving as an English teacher in Asia, I was able to work with many different age groups in various school systems. The challenges I faced working with students from vastly different socioeconomic and geographical backgrounds allowed me to reflect on how to improve my students’ classroom experience. In those moments, I came to realize the importance of creative lesson planning in order to differentiate instruction. These skills have been further cultivated from the formal training I have received in the process of pursuing a Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at Boston University.

Additionally, my talent for connecting with others and adapting to new situations is further highlighted by my previous employment at ASC English, Fulbright, and Agape School. These skills were invaluable when it came to culminating relationships with co-workers, parents, and students. More importantly, it allowed me to better understand a student’s individual learning needs. My talent for listening to others, clearly expressing my thoughts, and collaborating will be invaluable when interacting with the students of your institution.

I have an extremely strong work ethic. I have spent my undergraduate and professional career working on skills that will allow me to become better in both my personal and career path. I've worked hard to better myself by making achievable goals and reaching them successfully. For instance, I like to set a goal every year to read a certain amount of books. I do this so that I keep myself accountable and allow myself to continue growing even though I have graduated from university.

I also enjoy working with people and have always wanted to teach. I am currently working as a graphic designer for Payless Shoesource. This is an international retail store focusing on well-priced shoes. But, I have always dreamed of going back to school to get a Master's degree and continue on to teach at a University level.

My name is Adam I am Twenty-four years old I have a Bachelors degree and an advanced TEFL Certificate. Furthermore, for the past four months I have been teaching English in Spain at a local primary school to kids aged 3-12yrs old.

Furthermore I enjoy my job and to ensure that children learn English for future growth
