Teaching Experience

1) I have taught in Bali for one month to Kindergartens. I taught English, Art, and Math.
2) Tutored kids after school for 2 + years in various subjects

Personality:
I am a outgoing person who is a extremely hard worker. I am always ready with a helping hand to help those in needs. Many say Im a very friendly and kind person.

• During my work experience placement, I worked with children, staff and parents in the nursery.
• I assisted with PE exercises and games.
• I supervised the children on a daily basis, encouraging a safe and fun playing environment.
• I read stories with the children, puzzle exercises, creative art and music games.
• My organisation skills were further developed as I re-arranged the store cupboard resources to allow resources to be found easier.
• Communicating with the children’s parents was essential in order for them to know what important events were happening within the school and nursery.

Over my many years while working as a Manufacturing Engineer I have learn many commination skills.

I am 26 years old and I currently hold a Bachelors degree majoring in English and Psychology. In addition, I recently completed my Masters in Psychology (with a focus in child development) along with a TEFL certificate.

I knew that after completing my studies I wanted to pursue a career that would not only allow me to work with children but also initiate change in their lives. As such, my desire to change the lives of children inspired me to use my passion into a real purpose.

I started looking for places where I could volunteer while I was studying and this is when I came across the Iqanga Organisation. This organisation is an organisation that seeks to create a healthy school environment for children in disadvantaged areas in rural Eastern Cape. During my time there I helped prepare children for their exams. It was thus through my interaction with these children that I began to realise a new passion emerging through my interaction with these children, teaching. I have also had tutoring experience. This experience helped me to not only understand the challenges of teaching but the rewards of teaching as well.

As such, I feel that I would make a great teacher not only because of my brief experience around teaching children but because of my overall passion for children and their well-being. I am a very patient, kind and enthusiastic individual

I am Hlezi 흘레지 – I currently hold a Bachelor of Communications from the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia. Upon completing university, I chose to work in the tertiary space for South Africa's top private institution a student advisor. The position entailed assisting students and parents with the decision making process when it comes to university pathways alongside marketing and communications for the institution.

I am a people person – I love seeing people reach their potential and I am passionate about education. My love for being in the classroom is the reason I have decided to pursue a career where I can give back to society and wake up every day loving what I do. I am a go-getter with an enthusiasm to achieve any goal or challenge I may have.

Growing up I was a sportswoman having represented South Africa in Aquatics and my province in track and field. Discipline and teamwork has been instilled in everything I do – I am proactive to challenges, I am compassionate towards others and have the ability to motivate most people I come to meet.

My strengths, personality and skill set is the single reason I have found my fit in teaching.

To begin with, I have 7 years of English education experience altogether. Moreover, I have a TESOL degree, so I am highly informed on how to teach first language and especially ESL students. I chose to get a teaching degree but it is my passion and joy to see others enjoy learning. I am very organized and creative. At my current job in Korea, I have had to make so much supplementary materials and a lot of them I made from scratch myself. I am very loving towards students but can also give a healthy and appropriate amount of discipline by showing students what they did right or wrong. I hope I am the right person for this job.

I am Anelisa Lusithi, an English Native speaker from South africa. I am a new graduate. I hold a degree in Bachelor of Social Sciences majored in Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology. I also completed the 120 hour TEFL course.

My qualification has equiped me with skills related to children development, early childhood development, adolescence, determinants of human behavior, understanding of human behavior etc as per their age in the development Stages.

I have the ability to adapt to different environment because South Africa is a multingual country with a diverse cultural mix where people are able to mingle and understand their cultural diversity hence I will be able to fit in any environment around our global village.

Strengths:
I am able to work with Korean and international students, and I have experience with students in middle school to university. Work with diverse set of colleagues to develop curriculum and teach courses. Able to get make English interesting, even though it is challenging to learn, and give students techniques that they can always use to improve their skills.

Personality:
Outgoing, open-minded and like talking to people.

Teaching Experience:
I have 3.5 years TEFL teaching experience in South Korea. I taught at the middle school and university levels while in Korea. I taught at an all boys middle school in Geumsan, Chunchungnam-do that had 900 students where I was the sole native English teacher. I was an Associate Professor at Sejong University where I taught Koreans and international students of all years, but mainly freshman and sophomore students 4-skills and writing courses. I also taught job skills courses, Introductory Economics, Contemporary Korean History, Negotiations and OPIc courses. These additional courses I developed the curriculum for them in addition to teaching them.

Skills:
I am a very adept a developing curriculum and finding material for courses. Adapt material to students' interests to make it more fun and appealing.

I am a confident, happy and outgoing individual who always puts my all into my work. I have been working in local government for 12 years, and have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds in this role, including visiting schools and teaching young children about recycling.
