My three biggest skills are:

1) A constant desire for new challenges and personal growth and curious mind that is always seeking for new and novel ways to expand itself
2) I am deeply empathetic and understanding of others needs and able to stay calm under any type of pressure.
3) I have working in public facing roles for many years, so my communication skills are excellent and I know how to express myself clearly while remaining courteous .

Ross Caldwell

For many years, I’ve worked within the context of the church as a teacher and leader. Much of my experience working in this context has been with children to teenagers and it has been my joy to take part in the lives of students and see them grow within their knowledge of God and personal lives. Before my time in working within the context of a church, I have also worked as a Private Tutor where I taught 6th graders English, math, and reading. Through my time here, it has given me the experience of what it is like to work personally with someone and to learn more about their present life situations and education goals. Lastly, I have also worked briefly for about 6 months at a Private Academy called C2 Education where I taught an array of subjects to students. Through this time, I also got exposure to oversee international students from South Korea that were taking the TOEFL test. So, in my experience, I have had some time teaching students one way or another and I have worked towards using my abilities to effectively communicate, so that students can feel like they’re learning and growing.
Just this last April, I got married to a person in South Korea who currently lives in Gimpo with her parents. Because she can’t live in America without her residency, I’ve decided to instead move to South Korea so that she can eventually receive her visa and move to America together. This is going to be about a year long process; however, I do want to be with her in the meantime and I felt that to continue teaching English in South Korea would be a great opportunity for me.
While English is the first language I’ve learned, I’ve learned to pick up the Korean language throughout my life because of my engagement with Korean people my whole life. While I am not fluent in Korean, I have at many times, lived in Korea independently and am able to get around without that much of a problem. Otherwise, teaching English is something I enjoy as I do love to help students reach their goals and become a mentor for them as they learn to not only learn the language, but navigate through their own lives. I always do love learning about culture and people, and I see this as a great way for me to connect with the people there and learning to understand it’s culture.

My degree involved a lot of health education. Teaching children in general improved my classroom management and presentation skills. It also made me more passionate about teaching, and in the process I learnt the importance of patience and being understanding and to always motivate students.

I have a very active personality and I am a easy going individual who can adapt to different environments. I believe I am also very relatable.

I possess remarkable communication skills, and consider myself a team player.

I have previously studied abroad in Seoul on a year's exchange. During this year, with the friendships and relationships I established with Koreans, I often assisted them with their requests to help with their English. Whether it was pronouncing words or contextualising the meaning of sentences. I also help my three year old nephew in developing and speaking his English.
I am only just graduating now so do not have any physical classroom teaching experience yet, however, I have signed up to a Summer teaching camp in Romania this summer to give me some valuable experience and to put the knowledge I have attained from my TEFL course into practice.

My year in South Korea confirmed to me that I would absolutely love to teach English as a foreign language to Asian students. Their infectiousness and desire to learn and improve their speaking skills really made me realise that I could make a valuable difference to peoples' lives. I really appreciate and admire their desire and determination to learn; their absolute respect for their education. South Korea is an incredible country with incredible people, I miss it very much! It would be a dream come true to return there to work there. I'm already fantasising about reunited with authentic budaejigae and dakgalbi!

I am an outgoing individual with a positive outlook on life. From travelling across Asia and Europe over the past years, I really do love embracing other cultures and interacting with people from different backgrounds to mine. English is the most common global language, and assisting people in learning their language would be a really rewarding and empowering job for me.

I have been teaching ESL for nearly 6 years in several different countries. I have taught Kindergarten up to Grade 5 as well additional centre work and online teaching. I am hard working, patient, passionate and approachable. I have good communication, classroom management and organisation skills. I use a variety of methods in the classroom to make lessons engaging, interesting and fun.

I am a hardworking, passionate, versatile and friendly individual who loves teaching. I have 2 years of experience with tutoring young adults and children in English Literature. I was a teaching assistant in Lister Secondary School for 6 months whilst studying for my A-Levels. I was responsible for helping underachieving students by giving them in class and one to one support with the course contents. This helped them excel in their classes and become more confident in participating in activities. Many of the students I helped had improved their grades by at least 2 levels. I believe this experience will help me when teaching English to young children as I will be able help them learn efficiently. I love working with children and young adults as they are important members of our community and will shape the future of our world. Coming from a household with multiple siblings, I have always felt compassion towards young children and love interacting with them.

I am an Elementary school English teacher with a plethora of experience working with youth inside and outside of a classroom setting. I am an energetic and ambitious individual with a diligent work ethic and commitment to continuous personal and professional development. I work well with a large workload as I am able to organise and prioritise my work well. I am skilled at communicating with people from a wide variety of different backgrounds.

I am currently an elementary school teacher in Chungnam and I am looking for a new position since my contract is ending soon. I have really enjoyed my time teaching in Buyeo and I have actually begun the process of formally learning Korean as I would like to stay in Korea for quite a long time. I am currently studying Korean at Level 2 of the KIIP program.

I am looking forward to embarking on the next chapter of my time in Korea.

I have a bachelor's degree in International Studies from the University of Florida, which is one of the top public schools in the United States. During my time at UF, I was inducted into the prestigious PBK honor society. I take my education very seriously, and would love to spread my love of learning. I am extremely interested in traveling and immersing myself in new cultures, and I would love the opportunity to teach in Korea. At university, I spent 4 years learning Italian, so I have personal experience in trying to learn a second language and could use my own background to improve my teaching style. I am currently enrolled in a 120-hour TEFL course, and anticipate finishing my certification in late July. I also have years of experience in customer service and am happy to work with others to foster a positive environment.

Starting at age 16, I began working at a grocery store, and then worked at a daycare center while I attended school, and I am excellent at working with children of all elementary ages. My mother is a private school teacher and I often volunteer to help assist in her 2nd grade classroom, so I have experience with teaching methods and enjoy working with children.

I consider myself a happy and bubbly person, and I hope that my students would feel comfortable in the learning environment I provide for them, and I would always encourage them to try their best and personally would do everything I could to ensure their success.
