Teaching Experience:
I have 3.5 years TEFL teaching experience in South Korea. I taught at the middle school and university levels while in Korea. I taught at an all boys middle school in Geumsan, Chunchungnam-do that had 900 students where I was the sole native English teacher. I was an Associate Professor at Sejong University where I taught Koreans and international students of all years, but mainly freshman and sophomore students 4-skills and writing courses. I also taught job skills courses, Introductory Economics, Contemporary Korean History, Negotiations and OPIc courses. These additional courses I developed the curriculum for them in addition to teaching them.

Skills:
I am a very adept a developing curriculum and finding material for courses. Adapt material to students' interests to make it more fun and appealing.

I am Anelisa Lusithi, an English Native speaker from South africa. I am a new graduate. I hold a degree in Bachelor of Social Sciences majored in Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology. I also completed the 120 hour TEFL course.

My qualification has equiped me with skills related to children development, early childhood development, adolescence, determinants of human behavior, understanding of human behavior etc as per their age in the development Stages.

I have the ability to adapt to different environment because South Africa is a multingual country with a diverse cultural mix where people are able to mingle and understand their cultural diversity hence I will be able to fit in any environment around our global village.

I am a confident, happy and outgoing individual who always puts my all into my work. I have been working in local government for 12 years, and have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds in this role, including visiting schools and teaching young children about recycling.

I am a passionate and creative graduate who enjoys and thrives on making a difference in peoples’ lives. I hope that my teaching will help many students learn the English language, but also gain confidence in their ability and crucially, enjoy their lessons too.

I am a fun, enthusiastic and passionate person. I pride myself in doing a good job and making sure my students learn while having fun. I’ve been apart of a volunteer teaching work for 6 years to the present and have been teaching online as an English instructor to Koreans for almost 3 years. I teach students from as young as 3 years old all the way up to 65 and up. I am experienced in different cultures as I have taught students from different parts of the world as well. My name is Thato Maboa and I recently completed 150 hour TEFL Course. I have 6 years working experience, 4 years from SMSNET-SA private company occupying position of PA to Managing Director. Through my multi tasking skills I was promoted to Project Manager position and later promoted to Office Admin position. I then landed a job at Mmola Investment Group private company occupying Finance Manager position for 2 years. Unfortunately the company had to liquidate. After looking for a job since 2017 , I then decided to further my studies through LearnTEFL. Throughout my TEFL course I've learned that education should not be taken for granted and therefore no child should be left behind on education. My strength is that I'm a hardworking collaborative individual who believes in synergy. My TEFL Course duration takes 6 months to complete and I once again exceeded my expectation and completed the course within a month. My weakness is that I'm a hard-worker and end up losing track of time due to work dedication.
I'm a fun loving caring person who welcomes any challenge that comes through as I believe I will again surpass my expectations. My greatest achievement will be to allow students to learn and surpass their expectation of learning English. My strengths lie in my ability to communicate well with others, I use clarity and concision to convey my ideas. I am also a good listener, which is just as important. I am confident in myself and I am able to stand up in front of a group of people and channel that confidence into whatever I am talking about. I am very passionate about education, especially educating young people in a way that opens up unlimited opportunities for them. I have experience informally teaching English to people of varying ability. Whilst volunteering at the Hope Café in Athens I helped people of all ages improve their English, I noticed that the children were particularly driven to reach a level of near fluency and so I dedicated much of my time to helping them. I also attended Conversation Club while at university, which involved helping the local refugees (from many different countries) improve their English. I believe that this has given me much needed experience of communicating with people who do not speak English as a first language.
I am currently studying a 120-hour combined TEFL course, during this course I have come to appreciate the challenges and rewards that come with teaching English as a foreign language. I have found it fascinating learning my native language from this perspective an it has given me a deeper appreciation of the language and the importance of teaching it well to others.

While I have no TEFL teaching experience, I do have experience in classroom and formal speaking settings. In my final semester of university, I served as a teacher assistant and would hold lectures when the professor had to step out and also held the review sessions before examinations.

In 2017 and 2018, I had spoken in La Romana, Dominican Republic, and Cancun, Mexico, respectively, for week-long lectures. During this time, I had classes of around 40-70 people per any given night.

I am a very open-minded person who is very interested in learning of new cultures. I enjoy the any chance I get to share what I know to help others, as well as learn something new myself.

I am a highly experienced teacher with over 32 years work in educational positions including Brunel University in London and several places abroad. I possess a Bachelor Degree, Master's Degree, CELTA certificate and TEFL Teacher Training Diploma. My last position was in China where for four years 2014-18, I worked in a combination role of Orchestral Conductor and English Teacher at No.2 High School in Hangzhou. I was also Senior Adviser to students wishing to study abroad and responsible for IELTS training and advising them on suitable universities for their course of study. I also created a ten-week course in Critical Thinking for these students. My general classes in English covered all four principal skills and were built around much group and task work to encourage speaking and confidence in students.
As a Senior Academic Adviser to Haida International, working as part of a team, I regularly trained new teachers and carried out hundreds of teacher evaluations for them in several Chinese cities. In Shenzhen, I set up their teacher evaluation program and trained the team who would be responsible for it. I also worked at university level in China at The Tourism College in Zhejiang. Several of my Chinese students are now studying in the UK, US and Ireland. I am also joint author of the TEFL in Action TEFL course. I use a wide range of tried and tested teaching ideas in addition to plenty of things I design myself for specific classes and groups of students. I can also offer Business English, Academic English and Cambridge Exam preparation.
I am highly computer literate and familiar with a range of standard programs including Excel. I am available from around the end of August.
