Although i do not have relevant working experience yet, i trust that i am a suitable candidate because i am a dedicated and highly energetic person, together with my academic possession and love in communication. As someone who has worked with children between the ages of two to eighteen years of age for roughly about ten years both in the UK and recently in China, I have a passion to pass on the knowledge and skills that I have gained onto students who are embarking on their learning. I find it very rewarding when a student has understood a foreign concept that he or she may have not previously known about and to me, that is a reward in and of itself. I hope my resume can translate well in explaining my experience and joy in teaching students within the education sector. I have a bachelors degree in Strategic Marketing Communications and this course has prepared me to do well, not only with work, but any given challenge, as it required initiative, self-motivation and a lot of team work. My experience at the University of Johannesburg has fostered a sense of responsibility within me.

I am a hardworking individual who takes pride in being very efficient and innovative. I work professionally and aim to deliver creative and neat standards in everything I do. I work very well around people and enjoy interactions with the people around me. I am able to lead as well as be led. I believe my ability to lead, inspire and the fortitude to persist in the face of challenges make me a great candidate to work together with your team. My life’s philosophy is solely based on the saying that “impossible is nothing”, as I believe that through hard work, determination, and the right mind-set, nothing is unattainable. I also believe in continuous learning, enriching one’s mind and being knowledgeable.

Experience –
For the last year, I have been teaching Middle School students at Woni Middle School on behalf of the EPIK program. It's been a very rewarding experience, and I'm going to miss the school. Middle teaching taught me the realities of a classroom and English teaching beyond what I had in my TEFL course. Woni is a well funded middle school with reasonably high expectations. I ran 11 lessons for 9 classes. I laboured hard in Powerpoint and Word, using lots of pictures and presentations to really get the most of the content. I developed a decent catalogue of games and activities, testing what worked and what didn't with the kids.

Personality –
I'm hard working, I get very into tasks. I found myself going out of my way to refine my classes.

I have an eye for improvement and a thirst for it. In myself, I work hard to better myself and change. As a teacher, this comes out in trial and error improvement in the lesson planning and an eye for target content. I want to improve in everything I do.

I don't get embarrassed in the classroom. I can be doing the most ridiculous stuff with the kids and I just commit to it. I make myself laugh with what I do and carry on the lesson.

I was recently teaching English as a foreign language at a school in Yangzhou China to children between the ages from 3-8 and I absolutely loved it! It was incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact I was able to make on their lives and their smiles as they continued to learn and grow.

I have the innate ability to be able to connect with children, even the shyest ones. They trust me and look up to me due to my endless patience and calming manner.

I am kind, fair, caring, enthusiastic and can not think of another thing I would rather do than teach.
