ESL Teachers

I have been based in London England since 2000 studying and working within Education and the Arts.
During this time, I have been lucky enough to tour and work internationally working in many countries and experiencing many different cultures from all ages and walks of life.
I am a friendly, professional and approachable person with experience working with various size groups – from large, to smaller classes and one-to-one tuition.
I pride myself with my work ethic, commitment, my personality and sense of humour. I enjoy working and learning with both Adults and Children.

I am very excited with the prospect of working in Seoul again and hope to teach English and make a difference to the people I meet and work with.

As a recent graduate from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, I am eager to apply as an English teacher in Seoul, South Korea.
As a student, I took several classes involving the English language and have a certificate in Professional Writing, as well as one from a 120 Hour Advanced TEFL program. In addition to this, I also have an OPI level score of Intermediate-Mid in Japanese after only one year of study. In the Summer of 2018, I spent seven weeks in Japan, taking language classes and feel that my experiences there will have an impact on my teaching style in South Korea. It should be noted that I am currently teaching myself Korean, as well.
Attributes that make me a well-suited candidate include, but are not limited to:
• Motivation: Although I already have two Associates degrees, I went back to school for the sole purpose of applying to be an English Teacher in Seoul, South Korea. In addition to this, I have been self-studying the Korean Language.
• Adaptability: With my previous experience living in East Asia last summer, I feel comfortable making a life in Korea. Currently, I work as a server and am able to adjust myself to various customer needs and am more than happy to be placed outside of my comfort zone.
• Timeliness: I am not known as a procrastinator. I prefer to work diligently with deadlines and do not care to show-up to meetings late. I take care to ready myself for any type of situation and prefer to do my share of the work, if not more, because I am aware of the responsibility that is placed within me and do not want to let my coworkers down.
At Antioch College, I was well known as the student who completed their work quickly, diligently, and needed little guidance. My self-motivation drives me to be successful and I hope to represent that part of myself well in my future endeavors.
I am aware that the available teaching positions in Seoul, South Korea are scarce, especially for the inexperienced, but I would very much appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate my skills and further explain my qualifications.

I am an extrovert that loves good conversation. I am out going and creative. I have some experience in the classroom from when I taught a class of 10 year old for two months how to play percussion for winter drumline. I also taught 8th grade – 12th grade drumline during summer band camp. My background is video and audio so I am good at creating videos and audio that I could use in lessons. I would love an opportunity to come to South Korea and teach.

I am an enthusiastic and hard working person, I think that enthusiasm is a key quality to hold especially in teaching. Being enthusiastic and passionate about what you are teaching is crucial to engage students. I have had years of experience working with young people both in the UK in schools as well as in the United States of America working at a summer camp, which means i understand how to pace lessons, make lessons interactive and interesting and how to talk to all students at different levels.

I am looking for a teaching position for a 6 month contract from January to end of June. I have all the required documents necessary to apply for an E2 Visa.

I have for the last year lived in Japan on a WHV that expires in November. In this time I have lived in a variety of locations, but am now based in Tokyo. In Tokyo I have engaged myself in teaching, both children and adults from a variety of ages and backgrounds. This background in teaching foreigners English is vital and a transferable skill to teaching in South Korea. I would love to now work for a longer period teaching, and to engage myself in a new challenge of teaching in South Korea. The chance to work in such an amazing place is something that I am wholeheartedly interested in discovering!

I pride myself on my ability to adapt and to engage with my surroundings and my environment no matter the situation, pushing myself fully into whatever it is that I take part in. In Japan I have been involved in an abundance of jobs, activities and have been lucky enough to live in a variety of different prefectures and Islands across Japan's amazing landscape. This positive, can-do attitude is something that would come across perfectly to the students that I teach and the peers that I work with.

My commitment and dedication to my task can be seen in my degree, having graduated with a Masters from the University of Edinburgh and also the addition of a TEFL course to further hone my teaching skills. This passion for teaching is something that I love doing which is why I am currently teaching at a school in Tokyo.

My work experience as an assistant manager of a retail nursery has given me the skills needed to effectively coordinate and motivate those around me to succeed. My name is Anna Munoz Rodriguez and I'm from San Antonio Texas, where I was born and raised.
I recently graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. I have also completed a 200 hour TEFL Program (which includes teaching Young Learners and Business English), 20 hours of which are in-class hours. I also have a 30 hour certificate teaching English Online.

I don't have a lot of teaching experience. However, I recently started teaching English classes to adults at the Center for Refugee Services. I also began teaching English classes online to children located in China. Outside of my teaching hours, I work part time at the university I graduated from. Here, I am an administrative associate/receptionist where I handle a majority of student requests (and questions).
When I am not teaching, or working, I am usually reading or writing. I also take Korean Language classes (every Saturday!) at the Cultural Center near my house.

I am a hard-working, determined individual and I am more than confident in my abilities to teach at your school. I look forward to meeting you!

My desired location is Itaewon(Seoul)/Seoul, but I can be flexible with my location for the right school.

Even though I was born in Spain I hold a British passport – as both my parents are English. I have always
spoken English at home and I have spent every summer in the UK visiting family. I went to school in Spain and so I had to attend English classes with my classmates (even though I already spoke English at home), this gave me the advantage of seeing and understanding how English is taught to non-English speakers. I also gave English classes to children who needed extra support (children from 9 to 16 years old) as well as more mature students.
I am friendly, amiable, hardworking and creative.
I love to experience new things – I lived in Italy for a year and I have lived this past year in England doing my Master's Degree.

TEFL Position

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am excited to begin my journey as a TEFL teacher. I am a native English Speaker with a South African accent.

I have graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelors of Social Sciences qualification in 2019. I also received my 140 hour TEFL  certification in July 2019.

Through my experiences I feel that teaching kindergarten learners would be the best position for me. I love being creative and making my lessons fun through colorful and interactive activities. I would love to be able to enrich young minds, helping them to better themselves, making life more accessible to my students.  I am confident as an educator and believe I am approachable and easy to talk to, which I feel is key to creating a good learning environment as well as being able to build a strong and trusting relationship with my students.

East Asia has always been on my travel list and being able to teach there would be a dream come true. I am recently married, with my wife and I having TEFL qualifications, it would be wonderful to teach together and start our TEFL careers together.

I'm currently looking for (single) teaching positions in Korea, starting ASAP (or in the near future), with my preference being in Seoul; I was wondering if you had any suitable positions available.

I'm a native speaker, recent graduate and additionally I have completed a 120hour TEFL course. I have all my documents ready to go (including Bachelors Degree with apostille, Criminal record check with apostille and sealed university transcripts). This would be my first teaching role but I have held professional management roles, worked with the public and worked effectively as part of teams for many years now. I'm hard working, confident, plan ahead and I'm used to delivering to high standards. The chance to work in Korea and bring out the best in a classroom of students is a challenge that I look forward to.
