I am a highly organised, adaptable and motivated individual with a genuine passion for education and lifelong learning.

Throughout my university studies, I successfully balanced multiple responsibilities, including working as a private tutor while completing my dissertation and writing a book. Managing these commitments strengthened my organisational skills, time management and ability to perform effectively under pressure.

As a tutor, I have developed strong communication skills and a patient, supportive teaching style that encourages students to build confidence and achieve their potential. At the same time, I understand the importance of maintaining clear expectations and classroom discipline to create a respectful and productive learning environment.

I am passionate about helping students grow academically and personally, and I continually seek opportunities to improve my own knowledge and teaching practice. I taught a virtual class on the music industry for two years in a non-profit servicing high school students in Baltimore, Maryland and I was in a teaching and mentorship program for two years at the Agape Christian Fellowship at the University of Rochester. I am excited to teach, bold in the classroom, and I am passionate about child education. I am tech savvy, resourceful, and flexible.

Regarding my qualifications: I recently graduated from UMass Amherst with an MS in Psychology and have worked as a tutor for the last 4 years. My specialties include Math, Earth Sciences, and Psychology. I recently received my 120-hour TEFL Training Certificate from Bridge Education and feel confident about my skill set for teaching english.

I am a passionate, sincere, and detail-oriented teacher with vast experiences of diplomatic career in England, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Colombia, Brazil, and Uruguay.

I was graduated from the International Graduate School of English with a master's degree in English language teaching. I taught languge-enriched content classes at Yonsei University and its Graduate School of International Studies. I alson taught critical reanding and creative writing clssses at The Learning Community International in Seoul.

My experience in customer service and hospitality supervision has helped me develop transferable skills in leadership, management, problem-solving and working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. I have also recently completed a 120-hour TEFL course with TEFL.org, which has provided me with a strong foundation in teaching methodology and lesson planning. I am excited to begin my career as a TEFL teacher abroad, where I can apply my existing skills, continue developing professionally and gain valuable international experience.

I'm a TEFL-qualified ESL teacher with a degree in Linguistics and hands-on teaching experience across the UK, Italy, and China, working with learners aged 3 to adult. I've guided preschoolers through their first English words, supported teenagers with exam preparation, and delivered over 580 one-to-one lessons online.

Travel has been one of my greatest teachers, sparking my passion for languages and connecting with people from all walks of life. Every country I've lived and worked in has added a new layer to how I understand culture and communication, whether it's tasting street food, joining local festivals, or picking up new phrases along the way. This curiosity drives me to keep exploring and sharing stories from around the world. It also fuels my lessons: I love bringing real stories, global perspectives, and creative topics into the classroom to make learning English feel like an adventure.

Outside of teaching, you'll find me exploring a good book or film, trying a new hobby,
experimenting with creative film projects, or growing my own vegetables, all of which somehow find their way into my lessons. I've built a teaching style rooted in patience, creativity, and genuine care for each student's progress.

Additionally, as my previous contract worked closely with Elementary and Middle School aged students, I have experience with building a strong rapport with students along these age groups. My personal teaching philosophy aligns with the idea of using textbooks as a tool, but to not rely on them completely — that in order to learn a language, they must begin thinking in that language. Thinking in English – when paired with activities, pop culture, team-building projects, and creative outlets – allows the brain to feel more comfortable with a structure that had previously been foreign. Thus, I love to enter the classroom by having basic conversations with my students, engaging in their shared interests and using them as leverage during lessons, and implementing task-based learning methods that allows them to gain confidence in English.
