I am an enthusiastic and creative educator with a diverse professional background that blends the performing arts, design, and teaching. For over 17 years, I traveled the world as a professional performer, experiences that deepened my love for different cultures and sparked a passion for education. During this time, I taught dance to pre-teens and teens at summer camps and served as a teaching assistant in middle school art classes, where I enjoyed helping young students express their creativity. I also worked in after-school programs, gaining valuable experience supporting students in a range of activities.
In addition to my work with students, I built a successful career in design and advertising, where I developed strong communication and leadership skills. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Advertising Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and recently completed a 120-hour TEFL certification to formally prepare for teaching English abroad. I am currently studying Korean to better immerse myself in Korean culture and communicate more effectively with students and colleagues. I am excited to bring my energy, creativity, and global perspective to the classroom, and to inspire students to learn English in a fun, supportive environment.
