I am a 30 year old professional with a number of years in working employment now since graduating, I have a year's experience teaching primary school children English in Spain, I have been working as an online English teacher to Vietnamese adults in recent months part time alongside my full time job which is for a building society dealing with mortgage applications (in which this role has given me experience training new starters), my strengths include tailoring lessons to students' needs, grammar focus and also pronunciation, furthermore I also have strong IT skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel etc.

Hello, my name is Grace peers. I am 24 years old. I’m from the Wirral, England. I am currently living in a small town in Vietnam called Ha Tinh. I have a degree in criminology and Psychology and 120-hours in TEFL course at The TEFL org. I am passionate and driven when it comes to developing children's skills in the English language.I am teaching English to children ages 3 to 15 years old. By the end of may, I will have 9 months experience teaching English.

During this time, I will have delivered engaging lessons, created customised tests, lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, and interactive games to enhance student learning. I have worked with public and private school so I’m familiar with large classes sizes. I motivate stronger students by having conversations with them and helping them speak more fluently. With the weaker students, I adapt my technique by building their confidence, creating a safe learning space, use fun and engaging activities and give them the extra support they need.

In my classroom, I focus on making my lessons fun, interactive and engaging. I believe students learn the best when they are active participants so I incorporate games, songs and stories. I love to use visual aids, gestures and props to make lesson more memorable. I have a teddy that when the student hold only they can give the answer or talk. I have taught a range of ages but my most experience is with children from 3 to 10.

I am friendly, positive, and confident person, I put my heart into everything I do. I am enthusiastic about my job which rubs off on my students. Having great organisation helps a lot in the classroom as I have to juggle a lot of tasks and help me mention a level of professionalism. I create a warm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes. My goal is to build their confidence in speaking and understanding English. Therefore I always celebrate progress and make sure every students feel supported. I am adaptable individual and have a thirst to experience different cultures and countries.

I believe TPR (total Physical response) is a really good way to teach younger students as
TPR makes meaning clear and memorable. It stimulates both hemispheres of the brain. One way i have used this in my classroom is when teaching grade 1 ( 6 year old) about action verbs. We played Simon says. This along side drilling the vocabulary helped them remember the action verbs after having two weeks of from school.

Some student may feel tired or unmotivated. But to overcome this i make sure: i show an interest in the students’ learning; have well-prepared lesson plans; build rapport with them; are enthusiastic; use lots of intonation in my voice; and avoid shouting, my students should hopefully keep interested. Rewards can also help, simply by giving students stickers for completing a task. I found this really useful especially with capybara stickers in Vietnam.

I am passionate about education and truly love contributing to the community, helping students build a brighter future. My role as a teacher is important to me as i believe every student should have a chance of education. I want every child to have a chance to succeed.

My name is Michael Tucker. I am a charismatic and driven individual with enormous passion for the English language. The opportunity to utilise my English degree, whilst teaching children English as a foreign language is something I consider unmissable.

I have recently completed 120 hours of study on the accredited TEFL course which has equipped me well with the skills I will need to teach children English abroad. I also have a decent amount of experience teaching kids in the UK, having been involved in football camps, guitar lessons and very often helping years below when I was in school as a classroom assistant. Mainly for English students in years below me, but also for drama students.

I am enthusiastic and ripe for a new challenge that will allow me to work within the field that I love. That field being English. I have a fairly strong resume for my age, having had my writing published in several anthologies, blogs and being afforded the honour of performing my poetry at the reputable Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Now is the time for me to pull all of my skill-sets together. My writing background and my newly acquired teaching skills will put me in a strong and confident position when teaching children the beauty of the English language.
