I have worked in school settings on and off for the last 5 years and am very comfortable teaching and working with children. I worked as a lead preschool teacher full time for a year and loved my experience. I am very passionate about education and find it very rewarding to work in a classroom setting and see in real time how my teaching impacts the students. I am also very good at adapting to new working environments and am quick to dive head first into any challenges I may face. I am eager to perform well and I always complete my tasks to the best of my abilities.

I am patient, empathetic, and friendly . I always have a positive mindset and smiling. I believe these qualities help me build strong relationships with students and create a positive, encouraging learning environment. I’m also culturally sensitive and open-minded, which allows me to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds. I have lived in Vietnam for the past 9 months. During this time it allowed me to fully immerse myself in the culture, build meaningful connections with the community, and adapt my teaching style to fit the local context and classroom environment. Not only have I lived in Vietnam but I have travelled around south east Asia which has only furthered my confidence, adaptability and time management.

I have experience teaching English to students age 2-10-year-old students in Vietnam, where I created interactive and age-appropriate lesson plans that supported language development and student engagement. This hands-on classroom experience has given me a strong understanding of how to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs and different curriculums. I like to use interactive games, big gestures, stickers, use my body language- just generally making my lesson engaging. I had two teddies who I would throw to a children when they wanted to answer. I did a few big events where I had to host games for 300 children.

I possess strong communication and classroom management skills, as well as the ability to design creative, student-centered lessons. My background in customer service has further enhanced my problem-solving abilities and professionalism, both of which support effective teaching and collaboration with colleagues and parents.

With over 10 years of experience in customer service, I’ve developed strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I’m confident in handling different situations and always aim to create positive experiences. My positive attitude and willingness to learn have helped me adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.

Alongside my customer service background, I have a creative side shaped by my studies in illustration. This has given me a keen eye, i am able to pick on details that might have otherwise been overlooked and try to consistently possess a fresh approach to problem-solving. I enjoy bringing creativity into my work whenever possible to create an enjoying able working environment.

I have a year's experience of teaching secondary students English, and I also have experience in tutoring and caring for children. I am compassionate, outgoing, enthusiastic, and committed to creating a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students. I am passionate about teaching, because I believe it's something I really excel at, and I love connecting with my students and building relationships with them to help them achieve their learning goals.
