I am a seasoned technologist with experience in healthcare information systems and customer success. Over my career I have held many roles that have allowed me to share my experiences through presentations, mentoring, and training. I have proficiency in creating presentations with the standard office tools and presenting to different groups whether new professionals or C-suite executive. Other skills I possess are organization, working as a team, process analysis, process development, technical writing and training documentation and other content. My role as a consultant has allowed me to travel throughout the US and Europe, talking with people, sharing knowledge and training best practices. My current role has me working with a range of people both technical and non-technical to train on software and processes to optimize workflows and productivity. Before my professional career I worked with children as a camp counselor, coached summer football (soccer), and provided swim lessons. I am an open minded person that likes to experience new things and challenges and is looking to pivot in my career to something that is meaningful and in which I can share my life experiences and knowledge with others. My goals besides teaching English are to experience Korean culture in depth and before fluent in the language.

I am both a foundation and honours degree educated, Level 5 & Business English certificated EFL teacher and facilitator with a malleable approach that focuses on tailoring my pedagogical practices to the requirements respective of the student as an individual. Privately, I am developing a unique style of EFL training that aims to develop and nurture engaging relationships between EFL students and the English language by combining TEFL techniques with the improvisation and devising tasks characteristic of modern dramatic education. I have been teaching on Preply for a year and have worked in SEN schools and charity projects. Adaptable to any and all learning requirements, I am able to effectively structure my planning and teaching according to the needs of both the student and the course(s). As an honours graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with a degree in Writing for Performance, a recipient of the Norman Sayle Award for Literature and the winner of the Harbour Lights Award for Poetry, I have a wealth of experience not only mastering the English language but also writing it. I have recently worked for Major League Content as a content writer and editor and have completed numerous writing contracts for high profile clients during my short but successful career as a young writer and teacher.

I was very proud to be involved in UNESCO Biosphere's Ellyn project in 2023. My work has featured in magazines and events such as Stat, Coming Write Up, RCSSD Presents: and Pentameters. It is these qualities that lead me to believe I will be a valuable asset to any English language team.

I have lived in South Korea previously, I attended Sogang University in 2019 for the exchange program and the korean language program in 2021/2022 and am accustomed to the South Korean lifestyle. I tutored english at an academy in Sinchon. I have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from York University in Canada.

I have had the great opportunity of teaching English as a second language, both in a classroom/training room, as well as, online for more than 12 years. I have taught children starting at age 5, to adults 60+ years of age. My skills of teaching ESL range from beginner, conversational English, and Business English to preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, CET, etc. I am a very outgoing, and transparent individual.
