I'm a TEFL-qualified ESL teacher with a degree in Linguistics and hands-on teaching experience across the UK, Italy, and China, working with learners aged 3 to adult. I've guided preschoolers through their first English words, supported teenagers with exam preparation, and delivered over 580 one-to-one lessons online.

Travel has been one of my greatest teachers, sparking my passion for languages and connecting with people from all walks of life. Every country I've lived and worked in has added a new layer to how I understand culture and communication, whether it's tasting street food, joining local festivals, or picking up new phrases along the way. This curiosity drives me to keep exploring and sharing stories from around the world. It also fuels my lessons: I love bringing real stories, global perspectives, and creative topics into the classroom to make learning English feel like an adventure.

Outside of teaching, you'll find me exploring a good book or film, trying a new hobby,
experimenting with creative film projects, or growing my own vegetables, all of which somehow find their way into my lessons. I've built a teaching style rooted in patience, creativity, and genuine care for each student's progress.

My personal teaching philosophy aligns with the idea of using textbooks as a tool, but to not rely on them completely — that in order to learn a language, they must begin thinking in that language. Thinking in English – when paired with activities, pop culture, team-building projects, and creative outlets – allows the brain to feel more comfortable with a structure that had previously been foreign. Thus, I love to enter the classroom by having basic conversations with my students, engaging in their shared interests and using them as leverage during lessons, and implementing task-based learning methods that allows them to gain confidence in English.

My background experience i believe would translate well into a teaching position. My creative design skills allow me to create engaging lesson plans and materials. Also, after recent travel experience across China and Vietnam I found I could adapt well to different cultural environments, I also found a passion for helping the local people improve their conversational English skills. I am an outgoing, adventurous, and passionate person in all manners, professional or personal. Throughout my time at university in Madrid, Spain, I developed a passion for the English language in all its uses. By taking on leadership roles in both student-led and university-sanctioned programs, I learned I had a knack for helping others in the many stages of their English-speaking journeys. Additionally, my years of client-facing roles in the service industry have strengthened my dependability, drive, and leadership.
