Having worked as an English as a second language teacher for 18 months in Australia, I have the relevant skills, experience and qualifications to teach effectively in South Korea. I consider myself a laid back person but takes work seriously. I'm a well traveled person so I'm adaptable and open to cultural exchange. I also studied music making me a skilled guitarist.

I have completed the 168-hour TEFL course, including the 20-hour classroom unit and the 30-hour Business English course with the TEFL Academy, and obtained my BA along with my Licence to Teach English as a Foreign Language with the TEFL University.
The above courses have enabled me to gain an understanding of the key areas involved in educating children and young people.

I have run classes in nursery and primary settings, teaching children English as a foreign language and supporting them in their English lessons, including online tutoring.
Between March 2024 and April 2024, I worked as a substitute native English homeroom teacher in South Korea, teaching children aged between five and seven.
During the summer of 2024, I taught eleven- to seventeen-year-olds at The Royal High School, Bath, summer school, with a focus on speaking and pronunciation.
I have kept up-to-date with CPD to expand on existing skills and knowledge, including phonics.

Experience:
I have experience working in education as a Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils aged 7–11 through one-to-one and group lessons in English and French. I have supported lesson preparation, classroom delivery, differentiated learning, and accurate record-keeping. Alongside this, my background in supervisory roles has strengthened my ability to manage groups, maintain structure, and work responsibly in fast-paced environments.

As you can see on my resume, I have a lot of experience working with children. I also have experience being in different countries by studying abroad. When I was a teacher's assistant in Spain, I successfully developed relationships with children and helped them with their English learning. I organized materials and prepped art projects based around teacher's instructions. My greatest strengths as a teacher are my calm and understanding nature with children. My biggest strength as an employee is my dependability and my flexibility.
