I am a qualified EFL teacher (CELTA) looking for experience in teaching overseas. During the CELTA course I was taught how to prepare for and plan lessons, review both my own and others teaching for continued career development, how to analyse language elements to better support explanations, as well as being aware of the challenges that different types of learners may face.
Currently my teaching experience is limited, however, I have worked in multiple industries in the last 10 years allowing me to develop transferable skills useful in any workplace, such as adapability, time managment, independant working, and communication. My experiences as a team lead and manager have given me knowledge on how to handle a variety of situations and develop skills including conflict resolution, providing constructive criticism, supporting indivduals needs and completing paperwork.
