I am a graduate with an upper division second class honors in History and Politics and a wealth of relevant experience volunteering as a Teaching Assistant. I am looking to further develop my career as a teacher. I have obtained many transferable skills working in a variety of roles. My relevant experience includes the following highlights:

• Classroom management experience while working as a Teaching Assistant for Playbox Theatre.
• Working flexibly to meet business needs whilst producing high-quality administrative work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

• Communicating clearly to resolve a high volume of customer queries.

I have worked in various administration roles while volunteering in my free time. In 2019, I obtained some teaching experience at Playbox Theatre volunteering as a Teaching Assistant. I observed and reviewed lessons and I learned what is expected of a teacher and how to be an effective, engaging, and encouraging educator. Since then, I have completed the Outward-Bound Skills for Life award and the National Citizens Service award and I have been successful in securing classroom experience at a private school in the United Kingdom, which is due to commence in the coming weeks.

I am highly organised, and hardworking and I can present new content and activities clearly. While completing my TEFL qualification, I created lessons for a variety of levels from pre-intermediate to advanced, and learned how to convey difficult grammar rules simply. As part of the course, I created materials and resources and accessed other materials online. I have excellent subject knowledge, and I am passionate about the English language. I believe that my experience and qualifications will ensure that I can improve students' language acquisition and put all that I learned while completing my TEFL qualification into a practical application.

I have a desire to learn and travel. I am dedicated to being a teacher and I am excited to immerse myself in another culture. I will be sure to demonstrate that I am a constant professional and that I approach lesson planning rigorously with a keen eye for detail.
