With a strong foundation in legal advocacy, public speaking, and strong experience designing and delivering educational content across age groups, I offer a unique blend of legal precision and instructional creativity to the ESL classroom.

As an attorney, I provided legal guidance and representation to insurance carriers, conducted extensive statutory and regulatory analysis, and drafted a wide range of legal documents including settlement agreements, motions, and discovery responses. These experiences have sharpened my ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a structured, accessible format for diverse audiences, a skill that seamlessly aligns with ESL instruction. For example, I co-designed and presented a continuing education module for insurance adjusters, simplifying intricate legal frameworks into digestible content, highlighting my ability to create and deliver lesson plans.

I have a TEFL certification from TEFL.ORG, a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Morehouse College, and several years of experience teaching and mentoring young learners through the Breakthrough Miami summer program teaching history to students aged 10-13. I also have experience in the world of journalism, working for both sports and local news networks. Among my skills I am a video editor, and social media manager. I believe these skills will enable me to find creative and innovative ways to teach English.

I bring enthusiasm, adaptability, and a strong work ethic to the classroom. My 120-hour TEFL certification has equipped me with effective teaching strategies for engaging and motivating learners of all levels. I excel at creating an inclusive and supportive environment, and adapting lessons to suit diverse needs and learning styles. Having previously visited Seoul, I have first-hand appreciation of Korean culture and am eager to immerse myself further. With a background in Marine Environmental Science and independent research experience, I offer strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills to create lessons that are both enjoyable and educational.

I already have a year of experience teaching at a hagwon and experience teaching in public schools in Saigon Vietnam. I am outgoing and try to experience new cultures as much as I can. I make sure I talk with locals and even try to help their English while socializing

As an event coordinator, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, whether they're corporate, social, or private. I would describe myself as a motivated and adaptable ESL teacher with a strong academic background in TESOL and early childhood development. I am experienced in planning and delivering engaging, student-centered lessons that support language growth across speaking, listening, reading and writing. Skilled in classroom management, phonics instruction and tailoring lessons to diverse learning styles. I hold a Trinity CertTESOL qualification and have practical experience teaching adults and young learners in both the UK and South Korea. I am passionate about creating positive learning environments and helping students build confidence in their English abilities. I am a strong communicator and team player committed to continuous professional development and student success.

I have experience teaching students of all ages, both privately and in a classroom setting (as young as 6 and as old as 70!) and no matter the level or age, I have always managed to form a rapport with my students through my patient and understanding methodical approach.

In terms of experience, I have taught in Spain and Italy (for roughly 2 and a half years now), mainly focusing on preparing students for their Cambridge English exams, but also lower elementary school children and teaching them the basics of the language.

I am a very patient and understanding teacher, as well as fun, and able to get regular laughs out of students as a result of my friendly and at times (although not always) humorous approach.
