I have experience covering a wide array of industries, in a selection of roles, many of which have involved composing and running training sessions ranging from basic application use to on the job training and mentoring. From one-on-one coaching and tutoring sessions, to small group instruction, to full room presentations, I've imparted information and learning. Mainly corporate training, but having dealt with a wide range of people from interns just starting their working life to seasoned staff that have decades of experience, I've helped them all learn.

I have been tutoring peers and younger students since my high school years. I was in 4 honor societies in High School, all requiring a certain number of weekly tutoring hours. When I entered university, I began by tutoring my younger cousins and their school friends (ages 8-13) on all academic courses. As I have begun my senior year in university, I have started an academic internship at PYE Prep school that has allowed me to create lesson plans, create activity worksheets, and raise the standard of my academic work. I have also been able to teach English online with Native Camp. Native Camp works with citizens in Japan who want to improve their English production and reception comprehension. I am able to guide the students through lessons highlighting aspects that the students believe they need improvement on. In addition to these positions, I have recently begun working with Ruediger Elementary School as an activity leader. I create educational activities for the school students ages 4-11 and monitor the students during their afterschool programs.

I possess a diverse skill set honed through nearly three years of experience as an English Learning Facilitator for first-year university students. My proficiency extends to Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Blackboard, and Turnitin, showcasing my ability to proficiently navigate various educational tools. I am always eager to acquire new skills and tools. In addition to my technical expertise, I excel in teamwork, written communication, error identification and correction, creative writing, and providing constructive feedback. I am planning to move to South Korea next year. Firstly completing a 3 month Language course in the Hanyang University in Seoul. As a British Citizen, I am the fortunate opportunity to spend the first two years of my stay in South Korea through the free work visa they provide.

I currently DO NOT hold a bachelors degree of any sort. I chose to take what is know here as a 'degree apprenticeship'. Which is where you gain a number of level 3 (First year university) qualifications. Designed to be pragmatic and applied to the industry. I believed this was the best route to take to boost my career quicker and more efficiently.

I hope that these qualifications, as well as being natively English. would amount to the desired qualifications specified in the job description.

Hello my name is Gavin Doell. I am an extremely extroverted person and love to learn about new cultures. I have 120 tefl training hours and I have experience in tutoring and very informal tefl teaching. I spent 6 months tutoring students Spanish (middle/high school students). I also have experience working with younger students. I am fluent in Spanish and I am currently at a C2 level in Portuguese and Italian. I love learning new languages and hope I can contribute in your program!

I have worked in a several different environments leading and teaching children from the ages of 4 to 18. Examples of these include one-to-one as an Au Pair, in an after-school setting with up to 30 children, in a school environment with children with learning difficulties.

I am an efficient team leader and a conscientious team member.
