I have experience teaching students of all ages, both privately and in a classroom setting (as young as 6 and as old as 70!) and no matter the level or age, I have always managed to form a rapport with my students through my patient and understanding methodical approach.

In terms of experience, I have taught in Spain and Italy (for roughly 2 and a half years now), mainly focusing on preparing students for their Cambridge English exams, but also lower elementary school children and teaching them the basics of the language.

I am a very patient and understanding teacher, as well as fun, and able to get regular laughs out of students as a result of my friendly and at times (although not always) humorous approach.

I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in History from Rhode Island College and have a TEFL Certification. I am 25 years old and by the time my contract ends in 8 months, I will have 8 years of military service at the rank of Sergeant. I have also traveled to Korea last summer and absolutely loved it.

I have diverse experiences from living and working in Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, and thrive in new environments and learning about new cultures. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Carleton University in Canada and have obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate – TEFL ID 308105, which supports my qualifications as an ESL educator. Over the past year, during the international ECOLART camps, I have gained valuable experience teaching English to students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I have taught a wide range of proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and I am skilled in tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of my students.

I developed engaging lesson plans that incorporated communicative teaching methods, interactive activities, and multimedia resources to keep students motivated and excited about learning. I believe in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom where every student feels comfortable making mistakes and learning at their own pace. My approach focuses on building students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while instilling confidence in their ability to use English in real-world situations.

I have ESL experience through weekly involvement in English conversation partners dinners throughout my entire time in University. Participating in these dinners allowed me to learn about different cultures and create lifelong friendships. It made a deep desire to learn continuously, which resulted in my completion of a 120-hour TEFL course to learn more about teaching English abroad. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people.
