Hi, I consider myself to be an extroverted individual who loves helping people learn. Despite it not being necessarily professional, my MBTI is an ENFJ – the very personality type who is considered a natural teacher. I have started, however not finished, a 120 TEFL course and I also have a TOPIK 3.

I have been a restaurant manager for 2 years while also accomplishing high marks at University, and placed onto the Dean’s list for more than 2 years. I am passionate about collaborating with others to achieve a collective goal and frequently praise hard-work and dedication at any level. My experience working as a crisis counselor and a support volunteer for church youth has enhanced my skills with guiding others towards their goals and in a positive direction. In my current role an sos-youth administrator, I coordinate with multiple Asian cultural associations to enhance state nurses cultural literacy while deepening my own. In 2023 as a mental health technician, I honed strong transferable skills such as establishing long-term rapport, immediate problem-solving and establishing clear boundaries. Additionally, my experience as an ESL program team leader provided directly comparable experience teaching. Lastly, I am fortunate to have an immigrant mother and extended family to whom I owe my advanced bilingual level and personal affinity to cross-cultural understanding.
