Greetings to everyone, my name is Tai Talbot. I graduated from Delaware State University with a degree in Political Science. I would describe myself as cheerful, resilient when faced with hardships, and leading each day in positivity. Since I was young, I have always been passionate about helping others. I volunteered overseas where I visited an orphanage in 2019 and got to instruct lessons with at-risk youth. That experience encouraged me to pursue charity as well as working in areas that support children. My fellow peers have said I would be a good fit as a teacher some day, which has encouraged me further to consider a career as an English teacher.

It is truly my biggest dream to help others around me especially children, and I believe I will have the chance to do that at GLOII. My name is Meadbh Farrell, I am a 26 year old primary school teacher from Ireland.I have three years experience working in primary schools in Ireland. I also have a TEFL certificate. Through my teaching I will model kindness, respect and honesty. I will provide well prepared, interesting and informative lessons.These lessons will be planned to support a range of learners so every child will have an opportunity to succeed and feel included in the classroom. In my classroom the children will feel welcome and supported. I have experienced a range of schools, classrooms and learners throughout my years teaching. These include children from different backgrounds, EAL learners, and children with additional needs.

I have spent the last year travelling around Asia. While travelling I have just fallen in love with the culture, people and lifestyle out here. I have always wanted to experience life in new places, that is why I would love to work in a school out here. It is the perfect opportunity to blend two of my passions; teaching and experiencing and living in a new place. I am currently a Digital Media student at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. During my studies, I completed a study exchange year at Yonsei University, Seoul, and completely fell in love with Seoul and South Korean culture. I had already considered teaching in England once I graduated, but after visiting Seoul, I decided I wanted to teach English in South Korea! I am someone who dreams big and works passionately towards my goals, so I want the best for myself – and I see that through teaching in Seoul!

As for experience, I have recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course. Also, I taught English to a Korean student online for 1 year. I was completely responsible for the classes, finances, and confirming information with the child's parents. I really enjoyed the experience, and this made me realise that teaching is for me!

My skills are mainly media-focused, but they allow me to be creative and resourceful! Alongside my past teaching experience, I will be able to use my skills to engage a classroom and provide high quality teaching, and teaching materials. I am a highly adaptive and organised person too, as I planned and completed my study exchange year as well as maintained a high average in my 4 years of university study.

My personality is what shines because I am a passionate and optimistic person. I always work towards the best version of myself, and I take on responsibility well. Also, I am sociable and friendly, which is perfect for teaching students! I had a good relationship with my past online student because I pay an interest into others around me, e.g. their likes and dislikes, and I always try to help others where I can. I am a caring person in my nature, so helping students learn English is very fulfilling to me. As you can imagine from my degree in creating digital media artefacts, I am a very creative person. I think this would work well as a teacher for problem solving and bringing fun and engaging activities into the classroom!

An emergency manager by trade, and language learner at heart, I am a young professional with passion, excitement, and hard- and soft-skills from my degree and work over the past decade. All of my work is detailed and reviewed with a high-level of quality assurance. In my current role, I write plans, procedures, and reports, as well as design, conduct, facilitate, and evaluate training events. Because of this, I hold myself to an extremely high-level of quality in the work I write, as well as the lessons, training, and exercises I hold. Some examples of my teaching experience include working as a Supplemental Instruction Leader whilst in university to support peer education, developing training sessions and modules using current learning methodology to support my clients' familiarity with newly developed plans, and designing immersive and interesting exercise events for a diverse group of public safety and government stakeholders.

In my personal life, I have learned three languages throughout my schooling and down-time. I come with empathy and understanding when teaching English because I know myself the challenges I have faced in learning Spanish, Russian, and Croatian. I also hope to create a genuine space for cultural exchange and to learn Korean to best support my students and colleagues. I always strive to bring passion, energy, and kindness to any job, but especially to one with young learners!

I am a trained actor with an excellent grasp of the English language and how it is formed in the mouth.
I have experience with four- and five-year-olds in a classroom setting, some with special educational needs, as well as teenagers and young adults with special needs.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Art in English and a minor in Creative Writing. During my time at the university, I was able to hone my writing and research abilities through my intense coursework in literature and creative writing. In addition, I have also gained, through the MADE program, the experience to communicate effectively and enhance my interpersonal ability when speaking with individuals, students, family and staff. Due to these experiences, they have prepared me with a strong passion for serving students and the aspiration to eventually get into the classroom.

I am also capable of working efficiently under pressure to meet any deadlines with an understanding of how my role contributes to the whole.

I am a peacemaker. I prefer to sort out conflicts through conversation and clear dialogue. I have experience working with students as a tutor and social media manager. Which means that I am good at organizing meetings and helping others understand in the way that best benefits them. Working with students has made me incredibly empathetic and understanding.

I have over 20 years' experience with children, youth and adults in education, character development, and mental health. I have worked with diverse populations in numerous settings. My teaching experience includes teaching K to 12th grades as lead teacher and subject teacher in whole classrooms, small groups and one-on-one settings. Also, teaching in community outreach with neighborhood youth and children providing classes in ESL, character development, self-expression, decision making, and self-advocacy. I have tutored elementary, middle, high school and college students in English, mathematics and the social sciences. I have trained teachers in neighborhood educational programs.

My mental health work gives me a rich experience to draw in supporting students in the familial and life factors that impact their learning. I am interested in supporting the educational process for all students in developing their educational goals and personal goals to be contributing members of society. I believe it is important to assist them in seeing the capacities they have within and then accompanying them to reach their potential.

I am bilingual in Vietnamese and English with more than 10 years of experience in education, beginning as a mentor and volunteer. I hold a B.S. in Special Education (Adapted P–12) from the University of West Georgia and a TESOL/TEFL certificate I currently teach in an elementary public school. I have worked with adults and youth who do not speak English at a technical college, and with my coursework and professional background I believe I can bring meaningful opportunities to diverse students.
