I am a very friendly, approachable and outgoing individual, and give 100% to everything I put my mind to. Even though I greatly enjoy socialising and making new acquaintances, when it comes to my work I am extremely focused and driven. While I do not have any experience teaching English, I know I have the right attributes to do so successfully. I have experience in mentoring groups of young children through my football coaching and, on an educational level, have experiencing in tutoring students on different academic subjects.Through my time at university I have developed excellent organisational and timekeeping skills, and know the importance of managing your time correctly to stick to a variety of deadlines. This means that my father was assigned a new job in a new town every 3 years of my life until he retired in October of 2016. I worked in the Netherlands as an Au pair in the year of 2018.I took care of 3 children between the ages of 7-12. It was a challenging 12 months being out of my comfort zone, and having to adapt to a whole new cultural environment, but if I were to go back in time I wouldn't change a single thing! Through my job I learnt how to be responsible, the lives of 3 people were in my care, punctual, if Im late the kids will be late, and how to serve people from the heart:) During my stay I was also able to travel(solo) to my top 10 European countries,Spain, Italy and Croatia to name a few.My travel experiences opened up a whole new world for me. I learned about different cultures, Histories and way of life! The openness and general friendliness of the Europeans made me feel right at home.
This will be a chance to see if a teaching career is really what i should be pursuing. I love new and challenging experiences because that is one of the ways you can grow yourself.
