My name is Matthew Murphy and I am 29 years old. It has been a dream of mine to teach English as a foreign language for a number of years. I have recently completed my Masters graduate online programme (150 hours) and wish to move to South Korean in early 2020.
I visited Seoul in September and found the culture extremely intriguing. I loved every minute of being there and wish to return shortly.

One of my favourite jobs I had was being a football coach for a children's summer camp. I loved every minute or working with children and I found teaching a child a new skill to be extremely rewarding. I would love to be in such an environment once again.

I am currently the General Manager of a very busy restaurant. The skills I have developed through this role will greatly assist me in becoming the best teacher I can possibly be.
The skills of leading and training a team of 20-25 staff on a daily basis, ensuring staff are performing correctly and analysing areas staff may need retraining in.

I am also a quick learner, with a strong regard for attention to detail. I have had ten years experience working in the TV industry in the UK. This required working to deadlines, time constraints and ever changing requirements. I am from South Africa and have a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and a 120-hour TEFL certificate I am familiar with and know how to teach US Common Core State Standards. I have taught online for almost a year and have teaching experience with children ages 4 to 18. I all use Total Physical Response(TPR) when applicable.
