Although I have been out of teaching for a couple of years I have remained in Higher Education so remain up to date with educational requirements and have the ability to be a quick learner to keep up with what I would need to be a part of the school. I've also in my current work capacity always worked with students and have taken on a mentoring role through their various projects. I am an extremely hard worker, problem solver, team player and am able to adapt rather quickly to challenges. I would love to get back to the ground level and assist learners in achieving their goals while also providing support for them with the obstacles they will encounter on their journey.

Experience

ESL teacher: 1 year working as a full-time ESL teacher at Satit Pattana Secondary School in Bangkok. Professional experience teaching students aged 12-18, of varying ability levels. This experience included lesson planning and creating materials, grading and tracking the progress of my students, writing reports, etc.

CELTA course: I have completed a full-time CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) course in Spain, during which I learned to teach English in both theory and practice. I learned how to plan effective lessons, along with various teaching methods to ensure that students learn, engage with and retain the information taught.

Foreign languages tutor/ teaching assistant: Voluntary classroom experience in French and Spanish language classes. I began to acquire skills such as preparing classroom materials, running activities smoothly, and working with children both one-on-one and in a classroom setting.

Au pair (Spain): Teaching and caring for children between the ages of 3 and 14.

Police officer: Making fast decisions in high-pressure scenarios. Problem solving. Communicating and cooperating with members of the public. Completing paperwork related to case files. Teamwork with other officers and PCSOs.

I studied childcare in college for 1 year and worked at 3 different placements during this time. Between the ages of 6 months to 7 years. This involved monitoring children during their activities and play, planning some lessons such as gathering and creating printouts of work sheets. Setting up play areas for group fun. Decorating the classroom for events such as Christmas and Easter holidays. Painting children’s story characters on windows and creating displays for work to be shown on and rewards. Talking with parents on how their children are doing and improving in classes. Going on day trips with the classes. Outdoor play to involve the children in nature and expand their senses and knowledge outside the room with physical activity. I am an outgoing and friendly person, I enjoy getting involved in things where I can and making friends with people that I meet. As an Early Career Teacher with recent experience teaching in multiple primary school settings. Through myexperience I am able to bring an extensive knowledge of the National Curriculum as well as how to support children with the English language. I have got a BSc (Hons) Web Design and Development degree from Edge Hill University where I learnt many skills that I will be able to bring with me to provide children a technilogical interactive education. On completeion of my bachelors degree I completed a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) where I taught children from the ages of 5-11 all subjects including: phonics, English, Maths, Science, etc…
I am currently on a long term supply post teaching children who are age 6-7. I have got a child with English as an additional language (EAL) who I have delivered daily English language interventions to since September and he has flourished and is now able to speak a good level of English.

My skills are extensive in that I know how to plan, deliver, reflect and assess lessons and childrens progress effectivley. I am also able to acknowledge where support/interventions are needed and how to put these in place. Classroom management is also a skill I possess due to my experience with children who have been through trauma, who need emotional support, and those who have special educational needs (SEN).

I love working with little children and have good knowledge of various teaching strategies,
resources and activities that can help these young minds grow and develop in exciting ways. I
have experience of working with young children as well as teaching actual lessons due to
four years of practical teaching. I am also well equipped with the knowledge I need for
preparing lesson plans that cater for a diverse range of learners. These include visual,
kinaesthetic and auditory learners. In my classroom, I often take on a learner-centred
approach whereby I allow learners to construct knowledge for themselves through hands-on
activities as I feel these make lessons more fun and memorable for learners. In the past 4
