While I do not yet have extensive teaching experience, I spent four weeks in Bali in August 2025 volunteering as an English teacher to children aged 5-11. This gave me valuable practical experience in planning lessons and adapting learning activities to different abilities. I also believe that my background working in healthcare has given me strong transferrable skills that would be highly beneficial in a teaching role. These experiences have strengthened my creativity, problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing situations – all of which are essential when planning and delivering lessons.

In terms of personality, I am patient, empathetic and approachable and work well in environments where building relationships and communication are important. I am also eager to learn and confident that I would adapt quickly to this new role and be contribute positively to the classroom environment.
