Hello! I am a passionate ecology and environmental education professional looking to make a positive impact on our environment and community. Throughout my 4 years of work experience in science communication and education, I have focused on bridging the gap between technical science concepts and language and transforming them into accessible, easy to understand content for all age groups. I love using creative ways to teach people and make them excited about new topics.
My biggest strengths are adaptability, compassion, and my deep understanding of specialized topics which allows me to explain them to anyone, no matter their experience level. I have worked teaching STEM topics (math and science) from a Pre-K to university level, so I am familiar with various types of students, their obstacles to understanding, and how to help them become the best student they can be.
In order to receive my degrees in science topics, I achieved a high level of English writing and critical reading ability, which, combined with my Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate, makes me feel confident and comfortable leading English language courses.
Other skills include artistic ability, which I often use to create educational materials and memorable activities.
Overall, I am a curious, understanding, and dedicated person, which translates not only into my love of teaching and education, but also my perspectives in the world.
