Throughout my middle school and high school experience, I briefly tutored people in English and reading music. In college I consistently maintained high grades while holding 3 jobs in teaching which included working with adolescents. I was hired by my university to work with people from ages 5-80 teaching them music and communication skills which I still maintain. While in college I was also sent resumes, essays, and assignments that I assisted with grammar and reading comprehension. Throughout the pandemic I continued teaching high school and elementary aged students both in-person and virtually so I have confidence in my skill to teach any age group in any platform-virtual or otherwise. I have always had an affinity for teaching and am passionate about working with others to grow their education and support them, and through my experiences I have become confident in my skills, resilient, and energized to continue working with others.

I have been immersing myself in the Korean culture out of interest since 2009, and am learning the language. It would be a great privilege to combine my passion for teaching, working with others, and cultural exchange.
