I have experience with teaching children and introducing creative teaching methods as I am a founder of a home based after care program where I assist learners aged 9-13 years with their homework and their school assignments. I have learnt to be patient with learners and also become an individual that the children can look up to in terms of hardwork and always delivering the best work. I am confident that I have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, I work well with people as I understand the importance of team work in achieving common goals and I am a critical thinker. I have worked for an NPO for 4years on a part time basis as I was still a student. During this period of time, I learnt to be exceptional at time management and be able to work under pressure. I am currently a volunteer at an online legal business where I translate three South African languages to English. This has given me the opportunity to put my language abilities into use and to constantly learn about the English language.
I have exceptional computer skills, dedication, conflict resolution and confidence. I have a theoretical psychology background and this has given me the ability to easily build relationships in the workplace and with learners. My professional strengths and skills also include adaptability, empathy, listening, and subject matter knowledge.
