Dear Gloii Job Consulting Recruitment Team,
My name is Paul Russell, and I am a TEFL/TESOL certified English language teacher. The vacancy at English Education Services LTD was brought to my attention on the TEFL Org website and the teaching placement opportunity Gloii is offering immediately stood out amongst the other vacancies. Key factors included the location of the institution since South Korea is a beautiful destination I have always longed to visit. Another is the age range of the students since I have experience working with children aged between five and twelve in a sports coaching role. I relish the opportunity to be immersed in a new culture and to thrive in a fresh environment that is vastly different to my own. Spreading my own knowledge and culture through the art of English language teaching, using a blend of my own teaching techniques with techniques that are proven, tried and tested.
I hold a BSc (Hons) degree and a TEFL/TESOL 120-Hour Premier Course Certificate. I am close to attaining my TEFL/TESOL 40-Hour Exam Preparation Course Certificate whilst presently working as an online English tutor. However, I have reached a stage where I want to break free from the confines of online teaching to teach English language in a new environment, using my academic skills and work experience to maximum effect in a classroom setting.
Now, I aim to combine transferrable skills from my youth sports coaching role with recent qualifications and experience acquired as a TEFL certified teacher. I believe my invaluable knowledge of coaching children aged between five and twelve years old has equipped me with the ability and understanding to lead and teach groups of a varied age range and ability.
However, I yearn for a fresh challenge that can provide room for academic growth and career progression whilst embarking on a once in a lifetime adventure. I have been searching for an organization/school that holds principles that are consistent to my own, demonstrating strong passion and a high level of teaching professionalism. Upon researching the education system of South Korea, I was extremely impressed and reassured that any school I would be placed at would be a top-level teaching establishment that I not only want, but very much need to be a part of.
I a very confident, outgoing individual, with excellent intrapersonal skills. I believe I am the right person to be filling the placement vacancy, especially considering how much I enjoy working with young learners. If we share the same view, I very much look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Sincerely,
Paul Russell
