Matthew: Ireland: Mar 01, 2020

My name is Matthew Murphy and I am 29 years old. It has been a dream of mine to teach English as a foreign language for a number of years. I have recently completed my Masters graduate online programme (150 hours) and wish to move to South Korean in early 2020.
I visited Seoul in September and found the culture extremely intriguing. I loved every minute of being there and wish to return shortly.

One of my favourite jobs I had was being a football coach for a children's summer camp. I loved every minute or working with children and I found teaching a child a new skill to be extremely rewarding. I would love to be in such an environment once again.

I am currently the General Manager of a very busy restaurant. The skills I have developed through this role will greatly assist me in becoming the best teacher I can possibly be.
The skills of leading and training a team of 20-25 staff on a daily basis, ensuring staff are performing correctly and analysing areas staff may need retraining in.
The skills of forecasting and hitting targets on a weekly, monthly and six monthly basis. I must monitoring how progression is going and adjust accordingly.

I feel I have gained a lot of relevant life experience and work experience that will greatly assist me in becoming an exceptional English teacher. I am extremely excited and passionate about starting. I Hope you enjoy reading my CV and hope to hear from you soon.
