I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and International Business. I believe the knowledge that I obtained throughout my degree process, such as presentation skills, organization, leadership, and cultural understanding, will translate well in the classroom and will allow me to effectively and efficiently lead a class. I participated in an exchange program in South Korea during my time in school which has given me a much better understanding of Korean culture. This experience will help me understand my students, and allow me to connect with each student on a greater level. I am also TEFL certified as I participated in a 120-hour course that gave me direct knowledge on key topics such as, what to teach, how to teach, and ways to keep class both fun and productive to name a few.
What I will bring to the classroom is a professional, organized, and inspirational spirit to make sure that my students will learn the material as thoroughly as possible, while also bringing a creative, bright, and unique flare that will hopefully keep all students entertained and attentive. I believe that my creative skills intermingled with my professional persona will be a perfect combination in regards to teaching English.
I also would like to point out that I am looking for positions located in Seoul, and that I am currently residing in Incheon for the next two weeks. This will allow me to hopefully attract an interview and be able to have the opportunity to conduct that interview in person.
