I am writing to express my interest in a TEFL teaching position. I currently work as a music teacher in the Chicago Public Schools district in Chicago, Illinois. I’ve been teaching music for six years to students of various age groups and backgrounds. In my current position, I work with newcomers on a daily basis- often newcomers who are learning English for the first time. I currently hold an Illinois State Teaching License as well as a 180 hour Level 5 TEFL certificate from Premier TEFL. I am an energetic person who loves to learn.
