I graduated at California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. After graduating, I studied to become an actuary while working at an after school and at a general contracting company. After passing few actuarial exams, I started applying but did not get accepted anywhere due the high demands of entry level positions. So, I decided to get a masters in education and a teacher credential to become a math teacher.

My favorite class in high school was my Calculus BC class. This class inspired me to pursue mathematics and teach mathematics.
