I have a TEFL Level 5 certification, a Master’s degree, and over seven years of experience working with refugees and migrants, so I can bring both academic expertise and cultural sensitivity to the classroom. My passion lies in creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where students feel empowered to grow in confidence and communication.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve supported learners from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have faced significant challenges. These experiences have shaped my approach to education—grounded in patience, active listening, adaptability, and authentic connection. I believe language learning is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but also about understanding cultural nuances and unlocking opportunities for personal growth.
In addition to my teaching experience, I bring strong project management skills that allow me to plan, organize, and deliver lessons with clarity and purpose. Whether coordinating community-based language programs or developing tailored learning materials, I approach each initiative with strategic thinking and attention to detail. These skills ensure that my classroom remains structured yet flexible, responsive to students’ evolving needs.
My creative background in photography and digital editing also allows me to incorporate visual storytelling into my lessons, making them more dynamic and relatable. I strive to make learning memorable—whether through interactive activities, multimedia resources, or culturally relevant content tailored to students’ interests.
