I’m writing to express my interest in the TOEFL,SAT,AP instructor position listed on Hunjang-Maeul Job Searches. I was excited to read about the job opening as I love working with students. I am a Korean student pursuing a PhD degree in English literature at the University of Kansas, USA. I have several years of teaching experience. I taught English 101 (Composition) in Fall 2016 and, I’ve been teaching ENG 102 since Spring 2017 here at KU. I got good reviews for the courses I taught as all the five areas (Teaching and Presentation Ability, Quality of Work, Oral and Written Communication, Accountability and Self-Management, and Subject Knowledge and Learning Ability) were evaluated as “exceeds expectations” in 2016-17 Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) Evaluation. Before coming to KU, I worked as a private tutor in Korea and taught English to high school students to help them prepare for the English subject in Korean college entrance examination. Also, I taught college students to help them prepare for TOEFL, TEPS, TOEIC tests. I work well with students, and I am confident that I can help them learn critical reading and writing and improve their SAT, TOEFL, AP scores. Thank you so much for considering me for the position.
