I have experience coaching, mentoring and teaching in school and education environment. I therefore have knowledge of curriculum-based learning and understanding of setting personalised learning targets. Further experience includes:
• Experience of behaviour management and boundary setting
• 1:1 Tutoring English and maths to KS1/primary school age children
• Mentoring and skills coaching young children and adults with Autism and additional learning needs aged between 5-25
• Working with managers and varied range of professionals in educational, corporate and therapeutic capacities
• Knowledge and understanding of play therapy and creative learning methods
• Experience of designing fun and engaging lesson plans with clearly defined learning objectives and outcomes
• Experience of marking work, setting goals, correcting errors in CVs and coursework
• Experience of tailoring teaching and support to different levels and ages of learners, compassion and patience from working with children and vulnerable people
• Confident working independently and in group/team settings. Familiar with public speaking and highly organised. Very good at planning, mapping out ideas and managing own time. I am personable and enjoy meeting new people to share experiences, network and learn
